Ski boot dye guy?

Did you do it? I really want to do mine. The plastic seems like it would accept dye really well, I mean my gloss white splice riggers accepted the dye, and the Dalbello plastic seems very porous. They sure accept dirt so I think dye would work, but I guess I will have to see for myself.

So i want to dye my rossi sas boots the top one color and

the bottom a different color so could i do that and would i do the lighter color

first then the darker on top of it

They came out so sick. I want to find an old pair of the OG rampages so I can have the black cuffs/ upper portions of the boot.

My boots are black and gray and i want to die them either green or orange to match my outerwear. should i try to sand the black color of my boots before i dye them? or will that ruin my boot?

i was wondering if the people who died there full tilt buckles and tongues if they chiped(the paint) and how well do u think the green(on the classics) would die if u diyied them blue?

pm plz and plus k to any one who helps!

Do I have to take my shell apart or seal off the parts that i don't want dyed?

If I place the whole shell in the dye, will the black parts of the boot get dyed?

does dying ruin the toe bang thing on the new spk's or is the water not supposed to be boiling so it doesnt melt the rubber

obviously there are some very intelligent people on here. does no one know how to take their boots apart? i thought that was pretty standard knowledge cause stuff breaks all the time.
also threads for later

Yea they were the white ones. They seem to have lost some color since I dyed them though, they aren't nearly as bright as they look in the picture.

Thinking of dying my hot dogger tongues...Any color ideas, I'm thinking black

Any idea how many packs of RIT dye I need? Thanks!

You can't dye something black. If it is another color and you don't want it to be dyed, then take those parts off. And the best way to take stickers off is to peel them off.....

gee, thanks for the help, I'd never thought of peeling them off....They're not like a regular sticker, its as though they have a protective cover... ?
