Ski boot dye guy?

What colors can i dye these?

I've got te Tom Wallisch Hotdoggers from this year, do you guys have any sweet idea's for them? I think black and grey would look super sick, but would that work?
 
can i dye crowbars all at once and just remove the lens. or do i have to seperate all the parts. im gonna do them all black.
 
alright, for my 10/11 hotdoggers, I want to make them grey and black. I'm gonna do the tongues and back grey, which I know I can do. My question is, if I dye the red black, will it go fully black, no purple bullshit? same goes for my blue/pink lava splices, I"m hoping to dye them black but still have the print somewhat visible. +k for help
 
I kimd of want to dye my ft tongues, is it just like dye'ing crowbars?

Also would spraypainting them work?
 
I just want to know if the boiling of water could screw up the plastic and the boots could not fit me feet no more..

i have those boots (yeah i know racer boots but this is what happens when the 31.5 fulltilt are too small)

and i want to dye them to black !

Do you think that everything will turn black ? this is want want..

And do you think that they grey part on the side and on the top will turn black too ?

has anyone tried dying the old ass blue spks? mine are old as fuck so id kinda like to try dying em, dont care if i fuck it up
 
Seen a few threads on painting and dying boots/gear recently so felt a bump of this would be helpful to other who have problems with using the searchbar
 
I have some atomic race type boots which are white with red cuffs, it doesn't look like the cuffs can be removed, they appear to have a welded hinge. Anyway to get these off? I'd like to dye the white to something else, maybe try some designs or stencils. want to leave the red alone. Or alternately, any recommended way to mask off the red?

I tried this today with my FT Drop Kick, Going from yellow to black. Using Rit dye liquid dye and the color isn't sticking to the boot. not even remotly close after 15minutes.what's up with that? do i have to ad salt or any other product?

or is it normal Rit dye in pulver-form that you guys use?

so when i do a lax head this is wut i put in 1/2 cup salt 1cup vinigar 1-4 packs of tintex dye (depends on how dark i want it) bring it to a boil when boiling add ingridents. stir. put heaton low add head.leave for around 15-25 min depending on how dark u want it. rinse. dry u rgood to go

I dyed my red Hot Doggers black with RIT dye and yah, it won't show after only 15 minutes. I left mine in for like 2 or 3 hours I think. I didn't add salt or anything.

Not at all, it was actually very easy surprisingly. I took a picture of it before just to make sure, but it wasn't really necessary.
 
I have the black n yellow DuB 6s, I'm just looking to dye the yellow tounge blue. BUT will the blue dye turn the yellow GREEN ?????
 
Did u leave the boots in boiling water? I didn't have a kettle big enough to fit my boots in so i just heated anough water to fit into a bucket big enough to fit the boot. still no result after 1 hour.when i poored the water in the bucket from the kettle it was boiling, raped towels around the bucket to keep the heat. after 1 hour water was 60 celcious.

Long story short: do i need to keep boots in boiling water through the whole process or should the way i did it work?
 
I had the same problem when i was dying my rollerblade boot that i didnt have a big enough pot so what i did was start with boiling water mix up the dye solution as directed on the rit box then left them in the what was boiling water over night and drained and washed off the excess dye and ended up with sexy kelly green razors
 
Well, I wanted First Chairs, and the only boot left I could order for 31.5 feet were Hot Doggers. Love the boot, think they are ugly as piss. I ordered flex 10 tongues, and I want to murder the whole boot out, other than the liner, the blue logo on the current tongue (for park), and the bottom buckles. If I popped the 2 top buckles off, removed the liner, and the tongue, would that be good to die?

Also, would the gay little Tom Walnuts logos all over dye a different color, even if I died it for 4+ hours?
