Well, I finally got my skis, but I guess they needed some petex before getting to me HAHAHA. Hope everyone else out here in Colorado is getting their skis too!

Got my skis today, 2/16. No surprise, nothing at all about a coupon code like they said. I'm worried if I send them back it will be just as much of a mess to get refunded

I ordered mine the second day and others who ordered after me are getting theirs? that's bullshit. I have a ski trip to go on in 4 days and I'm going to be stuck with what's left of my old k2's.
 
so... i thought i had canceled my skis.... but they just showed up. I ordered them in August. I dont think i have ever seen the base of a new set of skis as dry as the subtractions that i got. and looking around at them.... i'm going to go with the quality of the build isn't that great. has anyone gotten to ski theirs yet?
 
here are some pics of the subtractions i got. again, the bases are are really dry, both my roommate and i feel these have been floating around a warehouse for a while.

Sorry that took me a minute. After further inspection it was not petex but instead a dent in the base material that did not get a pattern from the stone grind. Nothing that will destroy the ski but here are pics

Have an order receipt from the August 1st, and still haven't gotten mine. Anyone notice only the subtractions are getting shipped? Kinda makes me think that's all they have made and nothing else

I think some people have gotten blinks too if I'm not mistaken. haven't heard anything on talismans or dimes

Did you get all the money back?
 
I went through my credit card company to try and get it back since revision sucks at replying to emails. The cc is still doing their thing but since I now have the skis I don't know what will happen. I probably will not try and send them back unless the bases are all messed up. I'll try and check that they are flat and post why I find.
 
I live in Denver and my talismans supposedly arrived at their warehouse in Denver over two weeks ago and I haven't even got an email that they've been shipped. I can't understand how it can take this long. I can't help but feel like this has put a huge downer on my season and I feel stupid for ordering from them
 
Since I'm in France and I ordered one of the last pairs of Blinks, think I have no hope of getting them for the remainder of the season. Gonna go for Masterblaster skis instead and cancel the payment with the bank. Depressing. Emailed twice more and heard nothing.

Yeah dude I ordered mine in August a few days after pre orders started and I have no hope in actually using them this season.

Yeah not tryna hate on him, he's a great guy, but after all the praise he gave them, what does he think of Revision after all of this? Cause he might be the reason a few of these people bought their skis and are now in this situation.

Yeah, that came off in a dick way, I'm actually curious to hear what he/other industry folks think of this now that (I think it's safe to say) this has killed Revision

I'm not quite sure how far back you can go in regards to requesting a refund from you bank. For a lot of people (myself included) I would have paid for the skis back in August - being 6 months ago. Does anyone know how far back you can put in a fraud claim with their banks?

After the first few people posted that they have received their skis a week or two ago, it seems as if this has somewhat dried up. Haven't seen many people post that they have got their skis in the last week.

Has anyone received their skis in the last week or so?

Shouldn't they be working fucking day and night to get all the skis out? I don't really get it. Saw that they've posted a story but that wasn't what I was hoping for. I mean, months without any social media useage at all, and now they post a shit story, going in a car by some house's or something like that, lol.

I echo you, I feel like a fucking idiot too. How the hell does it take over 2 and a half business weeks to ship your product to someone in the same city. Amazon Prime can ship in two hours within the same city (terrible comparison, I know, but shit it's not that hard to pack a box, slap a label on it, and have literally any type of courier deliver it for you by the end of the week). I don't care how shitty this is for you Revision, just get it done.

If anyone has any idea on whether or not we can still file a dispute with the bank, let us know. Bought these back on Aug. 30th or so. Kept seeing glimpses of hope that I would actually get the skis, but about ready to get my $400 back, if it's at all possible.
