Revision Messed Up

I've basically given up hope. I pre-ordered my skis on August 3rd and still my order hasn't shipped out. At this point I'd be happy with literally anything that revision could do for me
 
Preordered mine August 2nd. I haven't received an email since the one stating that they received the skis at the warehouse, but that was well over a week ago at this point. If they're shipping based on order date, I guess they missed me. Really annoyed here
 
So after the initial glimmer of hope, I haven't had a follow-up to the email saying they received the Skis... mind you, I ordered on Jan 18th. I really hope this doesn't mean I can expect the Skis in April or something if it's going this slowly by order date. Painful.

And yeah, 'scam' isn't the right word. 'Incompetence' is probably a versatile noun in this situation. Looks bleak to get Skis for the rest of the season.

You ordered the skis when you knew of the terrible customer service and the delivery dates that were never met?

I found a few stories about durability issues but it wasn't until later I came across this thread detailing experiences with the company in full. Hope that deflates your semi and you can continue living.
 
Got my "your order is complete" 2 days ago. Which I guess meant they are waiting to be shipped (even longer). If I do not get a tracking number early next week saying they have shipped then I am filing this as a fraud charge and getting my money back. I just want the fucking skis I bought over 6 months ago!
 
Hey y'all. First of all I am extremely impressed with the maturity and professionalism of you young dudes. Forums can get out of hand but that's not the case here. Kudos! (not sure if that saying is even cool anymore). I'm almost 50 years old and pissed about this whole thing with Revision since we too are victims. Revision had some manufacturing issues. So what. Get some customer experience training and communicate with the poor saps that paid you for skis. My recommendation is that Revision hires sales professionals from Enterprise Rent A Car. Those pimple faced kids are rock stars and make customers feel like kings! All I want is some love and Revision management to tell me not to worry and everything is going to be OK. So Revision.... is it? By the way the Vishnu post that this string is giving you anxiety... don't worry... we bought skis from you and your company and product are top notch!

This is really fucking good to hear! Tons of negativity in this thread, but its nice to hear that a core company is actually making good products that people are stoked on.
 
what was the point of letting us know they arrived at the warehouse if they havent sent them two weeks later? are these skis even worth it? already feel like selling mine
 
Yeah i still haven't received anything in the way of a tracking/confirmation number, despite receiving the email that my skis were at the warehouse around 11 days ago.

I emails Revision to just check up and see how they were progressing with my order & tracking number - lone behold, I have not received a reply from that email (sent 5 days ago).

To be honest, I'm starting to question if those who said they got their skis in this thread have actually received them.

Any update from anyone else?

It's weird buying other stuff online now and having it ship the next day, almost feels like there should be a 6 month delay...

Yeah me too, same question.

I also haven't received anything furthering the 'we have your skis in the warehouse await shipping' email 11 days ago or so. Naturally no reply to my email requesting an update either. I feel if the answer isn't a good one to the above question I might ceremoniously ignite my skis with petrol.

They are seriously the most playful skis I've ever been on. butters and spins are pretty easy, they don't do very well going super fast in chop, but you can't really expect that from a soft jibby ski like this, and they can manage it if you just point them and stay loose. absolute riot in the park as well....these skis like to go bigger than i do lol

No you will just see the usual suspect team members announcing new sponsors. It will be the usual suspects that always get picked up by shit 2 year ski companies on flow. Word to the wise. Investigate the "fresh new" brands before you put your trust in them. Very few do it right. If they start out by stacking a team, and taking pre-orders, then run.

Yeah good luck if you try contacting them. Really the only thing you can do is try contacting your bank or Credit card company and filing a claim. If that dosen't work then you can file a claim with the FTC.
