Rant About Whatever

in the past 24 hours went from literally being in love with her to borderline never wanting to see her again. my pessimism has saved me though i think, not as upset as i thought i would be. maybe it hasn't it yet.

drinking is lame as fuck. i've always been open to it as some of my friends are into it and it's sort of a slight to the potheads haha. but i've never really been exposed to it before. and it's rlly not cool. smoking is still lamer tho.

on the other hand, more motivated to lose weight than ever! already lost 7 lbs so i am very excited for the summer.

1540 is the new SAT. so those dumbfuck alcholic potheads can suck it.

i miss skiing. only thing i do where i feel like i belong.

And alcohol rules if consumed responsibly. Most social and well regulated substance out there dude. I save my consumption of it for Friday nights and Saturday. Sure, People abuse it, but if used correctly it can be a game changer.

Just putting it out there that all the people at my high school who drank and smoked scored above 1100. All of us in calc ii would get together on the weekend and study then get way more hammed than I usually did in college.

This is not a post telling teenagers to drink. We were very dumb. Each of us probably had dangerous levels of alcohol poisoning sometimes.

thanks mother for ruining my graduation night! let’s add that to the long list of shitty things you’ve done! seriously who tells they’re child how proud they are to them, then infront of them, and others tell them how they dont deserve anything the have worked for. And especially not the schools i’m considering going to because she doesn’t like them and knows i won’t be successful no matter where i end up.

not to mention i’m sleeping on the floor, after she invited a ton of extended family, i haven’t spoken to in years, and made me give up my bed, the guest rooms and also forfeit a pullout coach for my entitled obese 12 year old cousin, for the week of graduation and next. And next week is the week before i go to national team trials in a single. After i specifically requested no big family gathering for graduation and i also said i didn’t want family staying with us. Too which her reason was well i’m so proud of you and just want to share that with everyone and says the shit she says. but doesn’t matter cause she filled my room the two guest rooms and one of the living rooms!

I thinks it's quite important to surround yourself with likeminded people during teenage and early adulthood, it's easier to get to a certain point with people who have similar interests. It might sound weird for someone grown up at first but when you start to think it's not that dumb move.

For me, a nordic 18-21 celsius is nice summer weather, anything over 24c and I'm dead. right now it's between 27-29.

I can take it but I can't do anything. Too hot for biking and running, climbing gym is like a Swedish sauna, Lakes are getting too warm around here so swimming doesn't do anything. Can only sleep between 6 to 9am. Mosquitos are way too hungry.

Below 20c is just so much better.

I lived in northern Scotland and when temps would reach 24-25c all the locals would complain about the heat and not want to work outside. And the days were relatively long like as you described with very minimal darkness. Complete opposite in the winter. I miss it.

Yeah go fuck yourself. We strong men here in southern sweden fight the hardest weather imaginable, in my city there is even more rainfall than in london. And britain has a stereotype for being very rainy. And its still cold here in the winter, and with my city having more percipitation than london you would expect a lot of snow here, but no... The weather always seem to be just above freezing when there is percipitation. So you northernes have nice fluffy snow in the winter while we here are stuck with wind, rain, slask (wet snow) and a fuck ton of immigrants.

Here is my theory about this phenomenon: the last time i could remember it snowing more than like 10 cm here was in like 2015. The majority of immigration from middle eastern countries happened in 2015, and most of them (80% maybe) settled in southern sweden, wich leads me to make the conclusion that those middle eastern refuuges brought all the warmth from the middle east and made it linger in southern sweden, which leads warmer weather, and thus no snow for me...

Those "swedes" are the weak I was referring to.

That is very interesting climate change theory. They refused to integrate so bad that they brought their own weather with them. That is almost believable.

typically just use zyn 6 mg but ran out. Popped into a tobacco shop and saw they had pouches, there were 5 dots on the tin so I’m like “oh 5 mg, perfect”

Y’all- they were 14 mg per pouch. I just damn near threw up. Wtf is wrong with Italians? Apparently the 6 dots are 18 mg???

Europeans love smoking. Italy was pretty bad overall with cigs. Portugal was a close second but a lot of cigars. Surprisingly I expected France to be the worst but it actually wasn’t that bad. In France everyone just sits outside and smokes together.

I did that in Israel, Egypt and Jordan every morning on my travels. I figured out quickly that in countries where it's very hard to find booze, everyone loves smoking and coffee.

Can't beat a 25 cent cup of super strong turkish coffee and a 5 cent cigarette every morning. Shit was fire. Very hard to break the smoking habit when i got back to the states. When I go back to europe I will resume that ritual.

I wasn't able to find weed tho. I asked some guys in the skateshop (shoutout 7 Hills) and they told me it's still pretty taboo in Italy.

This is going to be controversial on this site but whatever. I'm so sick of hearing people on Tik Tok complaining about how they don't want to work anymore. Yeah, I get that times are tough at the moment but when you are loading yourself up with credit card debt in your 20s, doing useless degrees, and living in expensive places because you want a skyline view, you only have yourself to blame.

exact same shit happened in oshawa ontario, and ottawa. We import a buttload of indians through our colleges then the -30 snowy winters dissappear. yes climate change is real, but it should not happen this quickly.

I think a fuckton of prayers have been sent and answered by hindu gods to quell the winters for them.

I just want to go back to an America where people relate with working shit jobs, multiple at times, in order to support themselves and/or families and not this faux wealth bullshit people are so hellbent on having, without it being considered Red or Blue politics.

Retirement is bleak, social security and benefits past 60+ are non-existent for anyone anymore. Why can't we just go back to enjoying whatever jobs we have and just living life and having fun?
