i got one of my debit cards stuck in the roof of my car without knowing it for about 2 weeks and the day I got a new one the old one fell out of my roof and landed on my lap leaving the bank. i loose mine daily lol

Imo people on the country side are more superficial or care about your look than you d expect.

I experienced something similar a while ago at a bonfire in a friend's garden. I wore my touring midlayer (some flashy coloured patagonia stuff) and most of the guys there judged about my personality and origin before we even talked.

I found that out after I got into a conversation with them haha.

I have so much fucking homework to get done and literally not enough hours in the day to do it all. I feel like I've been behind for weeks now and it just keeps getting worse. I'm about to have a fucking breakdown in the middle of the library.

my entire life. I dont even have a fucking hard degree necessarily....yet im in the library constantly doing homework while my buddies that have "harder" degrees do half the work of me....like wtf
 
My stupid POS Xbox keeps disconnecting from live when I play SnD on BO2. Also, I'm pretty much done with high school and I have no friends to hang out with. At least ski season is coming up so I have that going for me.
 
Holy fucking shit my insomnia has reached an all time high. I can't seem to sleep for more than 3-4 hrs at a time

I feel really bad for you fam... I know how it feels. College has started to fuck my sleep schedule upsidedown and backwards and I can no longer fall asleep. Going to bed has just become a time period where I stare at the ceiling till the sun comes up. I'm running on 10 hours of sleep for this week and that's not by choice.

Whatever you do, get the fuck back on to a normal sleep schedule and don't play on your phone before bed/go on the computer. Get your sleep back before you lose it, not kidding

I'm in a catch 22, I smoke a lot of weed so it's very hard to fall asleep without, but my sleep quality is not so great when I fall asleep even the slightest bit high, as most drugs disrupt your REM cycles. I'll live though, this is my last semester.

Have you tried melatonin? It's the only sleep aid that has ever helped me

Yeah, but it makes me sick to my stomach unfortunately. This is my first semester of college, but this isn't my first time trying to deal with this shit. I worked as a videographer for a summer camp, and after a few all nighters editing and rendering videos, I couldn't stay asleep for more than a few hours. I guess my sleep cycle is pretty easily disrupted

The amount of time I have put into this group project compared to everyone else is irritating. For fucks sake why are you even in college if you give this little of a shit? I realize I care more about school than a lot of people but jesus they have done absolutely nothing. And it's due at 9am tomorrow. I'm about to say fuck them and leave what I have and tell the TA I did everything and they didn't do their parts.

that's outrageous, the night before. But almost the opposite thing happened to me last year in school. We had one person in our group who would work furiously to get everything done 1-2 weeks before the rest of us would even start on it, literally leave nothing for us to do, and then get mad at us. It was weird. I'm not sure which I'd rather deal with lol.

Yeahhh. I mean, I prefer to get things done earlier rather than later. Especially with projects because you need time to consolidate ideas from everyone. So yeah, I had my stuff done weeks ago and have been waiting on them to do theirs (we have a shared google doc) but that never happened hahaha. Whatever I guess.

I guess in my case it was really jarring because the structure of the course almost forced it so that the group do the work the week or two before it was due. That was the norm for a while. It was like my groupmember had somehow worked ahead of that, it was baffling. But at the same time, I would be furious if I was the only one who had done anything the night before it was due

yeah see, that's totally understandable! It wasn't like you were avoiding the work, it just wasn't feasible to do at the time so I get that.

I've got this one bitch in my maths class that is exactly like that. We had 3 weeks to write a section to a maths test that was meant to be around an hour long. And then we would swap the completed maths test with another group and complete each others math test. And this bitch had a 2 class course load and both were first year subjects. She just needed to do them to graudate. So she had lots of free time, where as everyone else in our group has full time load and she got angry that we hadn't submitted anything or even started by week 1. Sorry lady, but I've got 3 other assignments all due before this one.

It was so fucking annoying. You're not getting extra marks for completing it early. It's a first year maths exam writing assignment. It's not fucking hard.

Same shit here. Except it's two buildings of 16 apartments each plus underground parking. All that in a suburban-ish rural neighborhood with only houses. We're waiting for court to decide on the matter.

Good luck man. Keep it up. Even if they get their way it's better to get on the public record so people will know it was opposed. Sometimes they review that stuff to create new planning guidelines so it might help down the line.

I applied for the same positions over 3-4 times each and got nothing back from my old summer gig. I too fucking hate HR.

Fuck wedding/party planners. Ive met plenty in my time and their all frantic and rude. I get its stress but check your fuckin tone with people.

I'm in a shitty mood rn over the most stupid shit. So I work at a bakery and most nights I work I take home a loaf or two of bread (for free). Now me and my roommates normally share food as its cheaper to buy in bulk and make meals together and i let them use whatever bread they want. But we got back from skating today and i go inside after talking to a neighbor for a couple minutes and the two of them are making sandwiches with the loaf of bread I brought home on friday, effectively finishing it off because the resulting butt was hardly large enough to make anything from. Maybe I'm overreacting but this is after one of my roommates made two sandwiches from it yesterday, using like half the loaf. It hasn't been 24 hours since I brought the bread home and it's pretty much gone and Ive only had a single slice.... and it seems like such a petty issue that I don't even want to bring it up. But stop fucking eating all of my bread without even so much as a thank you! FUCK

I'd be pissed too. It's definitely a dumb thing to get mad about if you think about it literally but it's the principle kinda. It's not cool to eat all of someone else's stuff, even when you share. It's kind of like the unwritten rule.

It happened to me all the time last year. So this year my new roommate and I take turns buying milk, eggs, olive oil, baking stuff, butter, veggies and essentially all the necessities that a single person has no business being able to finish by themselves haha. Then we have our own other food. It works out I think.

Yeah me and my roomies take turns with that stuff too. We buy the 64 racks of eggs and the massive butter and ketchup/mayo/mustard etc. Works pretty well
