And fuck any place of business that doesnt give you at least some what reliable schedules. Im so fucking sick of this bullshit fucking job, go from working 42 hours to 29 to fucking 19.. like WHAT THE FUCK how the hell am i supposed to pay a car payment and insurance and everything with a fucking 140 dollar pay check. I have a family member that the only way to interact with is to stand on pins and needles. Anything and everything he wants me to do I do immediately and always or Ill be sure to here about how unappreciative I am of things he does for me. Yesterday he asked me to help him do something that I was uncomfortable with. I said no and told him another family member who normally helps him with it can do it in a few minutes. He hasn't talked to me for 3 days now.

I cant believe that Trump is an actual option in this election and I can't wrap my head around how stupid half of america is. This "man" who doesn't believe in global warming, loves the 2nd amendment (don't ban guns) but hates the 1st amendment (ban muslims), "debates" people by simply throwing out kindergarten level insults, and loves to be a huge racist, is not only in the race, but has a chance of becoming the president of this fucked up shithole that we love to call the "greatest country on earth". It sickens me to know that people actually back this guy. On top of that, I hate that I am forced to vote for a lying, corrupt establishment politician only because the other option is worse. And America is straight ass. It's practically owned by the big businesses. Politicians dont speak their minds anymore, they're just pawns, and when someone who does speak his mind, and speaks logically comes along (Bernie Sanders) the big businesses and media outlets make sure that they can do everything they possibly can to make sure he doesn't get elected and take their money away.
And for whatever fucking reason, everyone has this mindset where if you don't absolutely love America or if you say anything bad about it, you should just get out of the country, or you're a terrorist, or something else equally as stupid, but if we never acknowledge the problems of America then how are they ever going to get fixed?

Ended up having to kick a local out of the bar I work at tonight. Which was ridiculous because I was surrounded by 3 very large dudes who also wanted him gone but were too wimpy to actually act on it and I had to be the one to make that call. Everyone was super thankful that I did, but it was like honestly? You guys were too lame to do it yourselves so the girl half your fucking size had to shove a belligerent asshole out the door, across the porch and into the parking lot? Fuck that shit. I'm not a huge fan of confrontation but I wont back down if shit starts getting out of hand, just really sick of having to do the dirty work because everyone else is too drunk and lazy to man the hell up and send'er.
I'm getting really sick of all the negativity here. I understand the situation isn't exactly ideal but being negative about it does nothing but bring other people down and it's super frustrating. For fucksake there are so many people who would love to be here doing what we do and there's people here dwelling on the stupidest shit. Like fucking shut up and enjoy what we have. We have the opportunity to do the sickest shit ever and I don't understand why it's so hard to see that.
It sucks that negativity radiates so easily. A major reason I came here was to get away from that and as time goes on the vibes are getting harsher and harsher. Hopefully that changes soon.

Maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about but I've had such a sick time here and it's a bummer that people aren't. Everyone gets to ski/skate/tramp/hangout at the coolest parks. Most people are able to ski literally everyday. I only ski 3 days per session so I don't understand how people aren't stoked on that. I'd love to be skiing every day but I guess thats for a different conversation.
Anyways, I guess it was a lot looser before we merged with High Cascade and I totally understand that it's different from years past. People still party every night though and we all have literally the coolest jobs any skier could have haha. It blows my mind that this is considered "shitty" by some people.

I've managed to avoid seeing my ex for almost three months, which in a tiny town like this is pretty much impossible. Ran into him today and it left me feeling so sour and angry inside. I'm past the point where I would ever want to get back together, but I'm ready to just feel nothing towards him whatsoever. Fucker doesn't deserve any sort of emotional response out of me.

So I've been applying to Medical schools for the past year, And I got rejected by all of them that I applied to. Great, So I had a back up plan working at an investment firm. I had an interview last Thursday. I Just got a call back today from the Recruiter and was told they weren't going to move forward in the hiring process with me.
So fuck.
Now I'm gonna be studying this next year for my MCAT trying to do better with that. The Firm said I can re-apply in 6months, but realistically would they change their minds? The worst part about it is that I thought I did great in the interview so fuck me.
Now I have essentially an empty year where I won't be doing anything but working minimum wage and living at my Parent's house like I have been my whole life and still miserable.
I Don't know what to do now. Great job life, you have somehow not changed with maximum effort put in.

essentially 5 summers in a row dealing with all sorts of horse shit, making sure dipshit tourists get down ziplines in one piece, drove shuttles for their lazy-asses illegally without a CDL, sold them tickets, took it in the ass when they wanted a refund and almost got my ass kicked because of it, and literally not a single fucking word back from them like "hey we need help if you are interested in working here again this summer." I understand its a two-way street and I need to be a big boy and apply for positions myself but it definitely wouldn't hurt to hit up employees that have dedicated seasons worth of their freetime who know what to do when shit hits the fan and to run a smooth operation before hiring a bunch of 16 year old cunty primadonnas because mommy and daddy need them to find a job to pay for their audis.

Its not that I want to be my own boss, Im just absolutely fed up with wasting my time with employers who say they value your time but really youre just another replaceable kid they can walk all over and use to their advantage. Id love to provide a place of employment for people that actually do want to get shit done and value good people running shit and actually derive some sort of value out of their paychecks instead of just watching the clock and collecting pay every few weeks. Feel like im banging my head against the wall sometimes because no one gives a shit about these things at all. Its why they work shitty jobs and hate their lives. Work isn't supposed to be fun ideally but it should at least be something worthwhile to do that you can feel good about.
