Yeah man for sure. I don’t get up to granby much but it’s beautiful up there. I want to ski ski granby next year though with my partner tickets. I’ll hit you up when I’m in the area!

a good bmx is only like $600 new. a decent mtb is like $2.5k used though. its fuckin stupid expensive
 
I think I'm going PT next winter for sure, so it feels kind of nice to start removing myself from the ski industry in terms of working at resorts and going back to enjoying it for fun and having a completely different job that you actually enjoy for once.
 
What's the situation at Alta right now? Don't have a touring setup or any avalanche gear, but would it be fine right now to do some of the more mellow stuff? I was told there are trails you can hike up and to stay on them?
 
You can ski it with some hiking over dirt right now.

Work gets heavily-discounted and/or pass programs through the Chamber of Commerce. Lord forgive me but I might actually buy an Ikon or Epic pass this winter.
 
Number one goal for next season is to get enough clips for a season edit. This should motivate me try new tricks more often because I can't make 3min video full of 360s and 2s out.

Second goal is to make video from my skiing travels.

I usually film max 3 "clips" per season. We'll see if filming makes skiing more fun.

Same here. I have this song lined up where it starts and ends on this nice choir loop, and picks up in the middle, and I’m gonna use that to kinda symbolize the season starting and ending. And I might be back in switz for a few weeks in the winter too, so that would be sick for filming. Only problem is the song is like 7 mins long so either I have to cut some bits out or get hella clips

anyone here at Akamp tomorrow? I am skiing for the 10-12 and 4-9 sessions. Last year was so good cant wait to ski again.

Park City getting rid of Kings Crown was the worst decision they ever made. God damn, I still think about that last 65ft Step-down.

Wildcard, Most Gutter, and August Light is the greatest single season of any crew ever, rewatched all 3 last night and Strictly is in a league of their own when it comes to their peak
 
I'm more excited to ski bumps than park this upcoming year. Really started enjoying moguls this past year and can't wait for this year.
 
just drove 14 hours to denver. drinking a banquet at the bar. peak 10 classic tomorrow at breck, and then copper friday saturday sunday. good way to spend the fourth

I miss jumps.

Been cliff jumping and tramping a bit this summer. It's fun, but it does not satiate my appetite for hitting jumps on skis. Honestly nothing comes close to the floaty feeling of big jumps on skis and snowboards. Maybe it would feel similar on bmx and moto bikes but I haven't and will never try massive jumps on bikes. no other sport/activity has both the air time and transition finding of snow sports that is heavily addicting to me.
 
I fucking love the greater Salida and Buena Vista area. Just spent the weekend in Cottonwood lake. Second weekend here in a row. it’s to the point that the wife and I are discussing moving here lol
 
How was the setup this weekend? Haven’t made it up yet but now that the good summer backcountry lines are about done gonna be fiending to hit some rails next weekend

they reset every week but i enjoyed this weekends setup. was talking with park crew about what they were putting in next and there was talk of a flat down tube combo
