Last day at Holiday today who's gonna be there
Hey guys!
So we're working to put together a trip from Buffalo to iF3 next september. It's estimated to be about $200 for transportation, a hotel, and gold pass into all the movies and parties for the weekend. Hit me up if this is something you would be interested in!

Basically any of the trails serviced by the yodeler lift, or some of the steeper trails off marti-gras like firecracker. Also eagle still had snow, went and hiked that this past weekend. Im gonna guess two more weeks of hiking until its all gone..

Kb has been working on some major aesthetic updates around the lodges, parking lot, etc. this summer.They took down coal chute and they just bought new groomers and got snowmaking stuff(not sure of the specifics). I believe they are working to upgrade their lifts but thats still a work in progress. Park will probably be the same. Last year was a transition year with park staff(and all mtn staff for that matter) so hopefully it goes a little better. I ski and work there - last year was actually pretty fucking sick in my opinion.

For their lack of being able to make snow, kbs park was pretty good last year. I wouldve liked to see some larger features, but what was up was fun and pretty flowy. Kb is underrated in my opinion. Its a shame about coal chute though, that lift was great when it ran.

lol kb was total shit last year no offense. if i remember correctly, i dont think they even opened till like the first week of January, and the park was totally wrecked this year. a couple years ago the park was actually pretty dope, but in typical kb fashion they screwed up.

Their location is the best thing they have going for them. 20-25 minutes from the center of orchard park, and basically a half hour closer than HV for pretty much everyone around here haha. i live 5 minutes away from kb so the convenience is dope and if the park was what it used to be, then id prolly see myself buying a seasons there. But its hard to pass up on the 3rd best resort on the east (ski mag or whatever) when its just another 30 min of driving. But its a shame to see kb going in the wrong direction

Rumor has it KB sacked all their park crew once again and might not even have a park or just wont have an actual park crew to build it. No idea if that's true, dude at snowflake told me that. It would be hard to do worse than they did last year haha. Hopefully they get it together. HVs park situation is largely unchanged, they added those hkd fully automated snow makers to fiddlers so they will be able to open park earlier and keep it open later and said they're going to toss more time and resources into the parks. Any KB kids making the switch? Curious if there will be any new faces around the valley.

One of the skiers wasn't able to hit anything they built and over all they just seriously had no idea what was going on. That stupid fucking golf ball box? What the fuck was that?
Anyways I hope they get their shit together. I hate Holiday's management/corporate people but KB is just so disappointing lately.

i hate hating on kb because i grew up skiing there and loving it, and hate doesn't really help anyone, but kb was the worst its ever been last year. I still was there around 3 or 4 times a week though, so it really could've been a lot worse.

This year were bringing in a down box, down bar or handrail, and a corrugated tube and moving the set up to a better part of the hill for speed and such. Last year it was a kind of a big issue. Then afterwards we party fucking hard. So it's a real fun time

pretty bummed, i just realized its on homecoming day, and fall festival in evl...... I have some tough decisions to make in the near future
