Punx5 will replace Infamous. It is a cap construction price point ski and punx7 will be the same as punx.

Similar/same dimensions and flex I'm guessing?

Sounds like a trend.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with the Monarch this year. Put some more girth in the bibs

done and we added a stretch panel to the sides of the bibs. In the few days our team has worn them the reviews have been high.

that stretch panel will be clutch, had a lot of customers in the shop this winter who had their correct size but felt it was a bit snug on the sides.

Awesome to see you guys listening.

Clutch indeed. I thought I was the only one.

K2 Catamaran replaces the Pettitor

.]Neither of the two MTN boots have a wide-ish last being 98mm and no shell moldability. The new X-Alp looks almost identical to the Arcteryx Procline from last season (which makes sense - same parent company). That boot was also very narrow. Lastly it would appear that Salomon is moving to a two year product cycle so no changes to the QST line of boots from them either. I want the MTN boot to rape the QST pro 120 just to see what its child would look like.

funny you say that... next year the QST Pro 130 will ship with BOTH the rockered WTR/ tech sole (with pin inserts) and alpine DIN soles for the same $699 price point. I got to ski them this weekend nd i have to say the toe box is considerably wide. I don't have a super narrow foot, but yeah...

Other than that the QST line remains unchanged

IMO best walkmode design out there. So simple which is great for BC repair if need be.

Well done Onenerdykid, I have a feeling you hit it out of the park with this one.

I neglected to add a huge *W•A•N•T at the end of my post. I'll echo what masshole has said - @onenerdykid has absolutely killed it. Can't wait for the videos to follow.

Are those k2s all the way to the right the new marksman?

Yep. From what I understand it's just new topsheets for the marksman next year

Topsheets for next season look pretty bad across the board imo. K2, volkl and 4frnt are all pretty ugly or essentially repeats from last year. Wondering when the bright and/or geometric topsheet phase will end

Im not gonna lie I actually like this coming K2 graphics just because of the retro look. But I agree, its getting old and annoying, Volkls look like the same shit every year just inverted or different color schemes. Id like it to move toward a ON3P/Moment or Faction type of approach.

Yeah they are the new grahics for themarks man. They look really good on the ski, personally i prefer them to this seasons,

I was out on them yesterday, its the same ski as this season, its just another throwback to an old graphic they had years ago.

The catamaran is new and so much fun, its seriously one of the best ow skis I have ridden in years. Im going to have a review of them up after SIA.

The other new ski is the all new sight from K2. I have not had chance to ride them yet, that will be next week

Haha thanks for the love guys, I hope you get a chance to try the boots out and see for yourselves. We gave Sage a prototype last spring and this fall we wanted to get it back to see how his particular one was holding up and he told us he wouldn't be sending it back until a replacement showed up. I took that as a good sign, haha. Keep your eyes peeled for a video with Daron Rahlves showing up soon.

I'll also create a thread on the boots that you can dump all of your questions into and I'll address any open points.

k2 and volkl graphics are hilariously bad the last few years. still stuck in that salomon kind of "random insignificant pattern with logos and brand name" approach. look like rental skis

I actually don't hate the look of the Marksman and Catamaran, but yeah I'm definitely not a fan of the pinnacle series. When I look at them I just hear "K2 K2 K2 K2 K2", which may just be some great marketing mind control, who knows.

Yeah, this.

I do like the Catamaran and Marksman more than this year's though.

But really, no Schmies makes me very, very, very sad.

It's half amazing K2 is producing skis this year. Do they make anything that isn't mediocre at best? Now they get to put shit graphics on shit skis...

It's kinda funny, Line is likely the healthier brand going forward. Their skis didn't get emasculated in the last few years.

Yup. Big dude here (6'4, 270ish). Bought xxl thinking they'd work, but had to remove the bib. Still pretty much swimming in the pants, but definitely no room up top.

I'll take some throwback graphics any day over what most people are putting on skis. I can't wait until they bring back the KVC topsheets.

Anyone know if the slat is dead or just not covered?

my understanding is that there is a black ops version coming out, and that they are adding a 178 size for the current black ops

It looks like Full Tilt hasn't made any changes to the buckles on the Descendant models. I've had so many problems with snapped or bent buckles on those boots.

Line, ON3P, Armada all look good

Rossignol and Blizzard also look really good from a more minimal simple standpoint.

what about on3p? haven't been able to see shit about their new line!

Saw a sneak peak of Jossi's pro model NFX2s on Dragon's instagram and they looked sick, can anyone share more photos?

Further, I know the Moment crew doesn't go to SIA but are there any upcoming sneak peaks coming soon? ie, next year's Deathwish or Bibby?

They have a promo website uphttp://www.mmntskis.com

Looks like deathwish and Bibby are back unchanged, and the meridian gets expanded into a line with a wider version and tour (!!) version. There's some more details on the TGR tech talk thread.
