Hoping Frances gets a W, but i wouldnt look past England even though everyone thinks they suck. Almost had Germany at the last world cup and have some excellent talent. still cant believe rio was left off
 
I was never on the Spain bandwagon and today confirmed it they went win this tournament. who the hell do they think they agree starting with no striker. and all the passing just gets boring like Barcelona until Messiah gets the ball.

My good friend at work is a certified football judge and judge trainer under the national football association, He calls this a no penalty - in his words you should judge hand to ball or ball to hand, this was a ball to hand. we also talked about the Goal that Croatia got, and it was not an off side. He thinks from what he has seen the judging has been quite good so far. I was at a wedding Saturday - getting drunk and eating good food and did not see the Denmark game. saw the recap and im looking forward to the game against Portugal. in the qualification Denmark ripped Portugal to shreds.
 


In relation to the move, when the Dane takes it with his shoulder or upper arm. That is actually more questionable. There he clearly runs into the ball to bring it with him, and if it is considered his arm, then it is a penalty. If the shoulder, it is not. The funny thing is, that the first touch would almost never give a penalty, even though it could likely be one. The second touch would often give a penalty, even though it is often not a penalty.

Please remember, that the match is over, and the discussion is theory.

Also what the hell is a "football judge"?
 
Hand to ball or ball to hand doesnt always work, in this case Huntelaar want to make an action and that hand prevents it, even though it is not on purpose, it prevents him to make an action, and maybe score..so its should have been a penalty.. Hunterlaar shouldnt have put his arm in the air right away, now it looks like he wanted to hit the arm and get a penalty..

 
Thing is, he was standing on his wrong foot, heading in the direction the ball was supposed to go. Now the Danish defender took the ball with him and there was no way he could've gotten the ball back. Bad judging for sure.

Also, what the fuck was that match. An abomination. We lost from Denmark? Seriously? This is going to be like 4 years ago, where we whoop France and Italy's ass and then lose from Russia. Maybe we're just destined to be World Champion. Already won the European Championship, so who cares.

From the sound of it on the radio, this game is getting pretty good. I hope France keeps up the pace in the 2nd half.
 
Well, that's kinda disapointing. By the sound of it we really should've had that one. A tie isn't bad however considering we should definitely beat Sweden and Ukraine but still.
 
Well the fact the ref was blatantly on France's side, yes you should of won.

Cabaye should really of been booked the amount of fouls he made.
