shits done, there is a really lon gbutter box, nice down rail, then c rail or down rail, and wallride, the other small park is also still open

Few cm's here and there. Upset that they took down the one jump, me and austin re shaped the lip on xmas eve and it was mad fun.
its also a jam night today, tha coop and top of the world are filming and making an edit i think im going up
 
Anyone know what the current setup is looking like? Or the hill in general? I haven't been up since before the melt (Dec 30).
Last I saw they had only the rails, boxes and pvc in the lower small park (no jump) and the wide box, down rail, C rail beside another rail followed by the wall ride at the end beside where the big step down usually is.

and they took down the lower flat rail and the c-rail just before the wallride and replaced them with nice looking down flat down and a whale box (think that's what you'd call it)

so as of last night this was what was set up:

in mini park:

-pvc pipe

-small flat rail

-down rail

-up box

-down flat box

in other park:

-3 butterboxes set up end to end

-down rail

-dfd

-whale box

-wallride

will be patrolling this Sunday evening (I'm the patroller with red/black pants). say hi

think they'll have any decent jumps up for tomorrow? Im trying to decide wether to go to edelweiss or cascade.
 
yea jump is something I'd expect at Fortune, but they're still blowing snow on Yoddeler for more decent features. The up-flat-down butterbox things looks super fun, should be open tomorrow
 
Im growing a wee bit impatient to be honest. I went to cascade and they had a down box, down tube, followed by a down bar, followed by another down bar or down barrel or big step down jump, followed by a down flat rail, then a jump, then a flat box, then a dfd or option of 3 jumps (small medium and big) then an updown box and two spines with jibs at the top. Not to mention the other down box and butter box they had in the mini park.

Edelweiss needs to get goin
 
wow cascades sounds actually so sick.
why does edelweiss even bother selling park passes if they don't have a need for them? unless they have the full run park open, there's no need really...
 
Yea i realize, its a good thing too because im a big fan of the jumps at edelweiss.

I was just saying i was impatient because someone above said how there was no shaping or snow blowing going on.

Im sure theyll get around to it soon though. Not too worried.
 
unfortunately I don't think the hills priority is on park, if they can sell more tickets to the general public by opening up another run than they can get by opening up a park then they'll focus the snow making on other parts of the hill. but they have consistently had at least a gun or two going on Yoddeler (the run they have they top to bottom park on), so just give it a bit of time.
 
Yeah real park build never starts until they have enough snow to open most of Zoomer. Park is a priority, but they need to have some place for the rest of the people as well. The Jan melt was a huge setback, as with every year, so we're actually still on track compared to recent years. Snowmaking has been pretty much maxed out when weather permits, so the guys are at least trying.

And in regards to park passes, they are not required until the main park gets gated at the top, until then you are free to ride without one.

Guns are pumping out tons of snow for the big park. At least 5 new jibs were built and waiting to solidify. Several jumps in the works as well

MUCH snow ready/being blown for huge jumps, it is gonna be nutz this year
 
their still building it up, so most of it isn't open. just the bottom with the down rail, dfd, whaleback, wallride, and the mini park with the small jump, flat rail, down box, and down flat box.

once it's open it'll be amazing, but probably won't be for at least another few days.
 
They just opened a ton of new and bigger features last night. Boxes, rails and bonks starting at a manned entrance besides devils hole.

The cat was pushing on the MASSIVE money booter last night, with intentions of having around a 55ftr ready for the weekend at the latest. Few other smaller-medium jumps should open around the same time.
 
I can't say I remember too well. just too damn cold this evening to be paying attention to everything.

but from what i remember, from top to bottom of there is a pyramid box thing that looks fun, then about at 25-30 foot to knuckle jump with lots of kick, then a bunch of rails/boxes/slides/bonks etc. (can't remember exactly but at least a dfd, pvc, down box, 2 tire bonks, bunch of other slidey things here and there) then there are 2 more jumps, i think one about 20 feet to knuckle, the other 15 (but this one you could take faaar and still be fine). then there;s the booter at the bottom that's probably 35ish feet to knuckle. then there's still the butter box setup, a down rail, dfd, whale back, wall ride and then the mini park with 10 foot jump, flat rail, down box, and down flat box.
 
jumps:shitty step down jump with lots of kick, just a set up jump for the HUGE step-up! it is super smooth, sick, and awesome, my favourite jump of the area so far. afterr that there are some random rails, 40 foot dfd, nie flat down, then there is a jump and jib line
jump line (all step dpwns)30-35?20, (but you can take it really deep)last jump, 30?
the park guys have been telling me they are planning on making the jumps all alot bigger
the other jib line has a long ass down bar, corrugated pipe, or elbow kink box, battleship butterbox, down bar, then dfd, or rollercoaster box.
they also have 2 more rails in between the stepup and next 2 lines, as well as a mini pipe with jibs on either side
