Official College Acceptance Thread '10

i didnt get in but i did the Hyde interview. it was weird, questions like 'how do you incorporate diversity into your life' or something like that. even though the school is mostly white rich kids.

haha yea I got asked that question too in my Hyde interview and I was like umm ya I have black friends and mexican friends haha.
I got into Denver U with a nice schoalrship so I think ill be seeing some of you there!!!!

honestly, I don't know yet. I only applied because they have my major and I got the VIP, I'm still waitin back on Pitt and Penn St.

No i did not, the weekend that it was I had a ton going on. But I did end up getting in with a scholarship

Cobleskill ( it was my backup, DEFINITELY not going there!)

Sage college in Albany - got accepted into the photography program! This is where I'm going (:

u of u

msu

and now

westminster with a hefty scholarship. the lady called me to tell me and she sounded pretty stoked, she wants me to come visit or something.

I got my acceptance to Penn State main today but they want me to start in the summer.. Anybody else with this problem?

i know a bunch of people that went to the summer session, and they all had a really good time. you get to meet new people and such plus you only have 2 classes

A friend of mine had that last year, and did not do it because he is lazy as hell.

If you like the school a lot, then go for it.

I'm in the same boat, 29 on ACT, GPA around a 4.0 and I havent really heard about any money. but im also not at home im doing an exchange year in austria my senior year so who knows what mail my moms opening but

i got accepted to u of u and weber state university, but I'm almost positive I'm going to Weber

Just got into westminster, my first, and kind of only choice. Stoked to go shred the yoot next year

I also got into westminster, and with a presidential scholorship (56k) and the university of Utah. I can't decide which one to go to! They are gonna cost about the same and they are both in the sameish location so I don't know! Which do people think is better all around?

i'm just about in the same situation as you. i think i'm leaning towards u of u just cause of the size though. and i'm a sucker for college football games.

2 classes isn't bad at all, I was wondering if it was a bunch of bullshit just to get to go there in the fall, but if they had a good time then I might have to consider it.
