That game was total BS. You can't argue the Stars won by two so it wouldn't have mattered. That goal would have changed the complexity of the game. The Stars would have played more aggresive/frantic, considering they were down 3-0.

number 1... In that post before, i never said that Crosby and Malkin were better than Ovechkin. This year at least. Olvechkin played a hell of a season, I never have taken anything away from him.

...but if you want to bring the Hart and Art Ross into it. I do believe someone else won both of them in the same year... before Olvechkin... at a younger age... with Colby Armstrong as his winger... and he was neck and neck... if not slightly ahead of Olvechkin before an injury this year...

god, it's so painful to see that the penguins only bitch when they're losing. Crosby talked to the refs tooo many times tonight and it was god to see Crosby get ejected after he got thumbed in the eye, hehehehe.

We all know Crosby and Malkin(Penguins biggest assets) are young and can't control there mouth or temper. 10000 pens fans sat infront of mellon arena in the rain just to watch the game on the shitty vzw screen last night. bandwagoners dont sit in the rain. in a league where the product is not selling, pittsburgh has one of the strongest hockey markets. my season tickets have been passed down through my family since they were offered in 1970. and to add another fuck you, the TEAM won alot of fucking games with out Sidney Crosby. what was the point you were trying to make with that comment?

It amazes me some of the kids on here not even knowing about players besides Crosby and Malkin, if your not bandwagonneers, than don't say stuff like.... I dont know who that player was, but he was slashing Crosby. There are 20 players per team, you learn them quick, if you truely watch the penguins all season you would for sure know who Richards is since the In State rivals had so much bad blood all season long!

Just because there were some fans who went to watch a game on a shitty TV in the rain doesnt mean they arent bandwagoners, it just means they arent that smart.
 
ya, I love this too. Crosby stands for everything that hockey shouldn't be. Trying to fall down instead of trying to stay up and actually make an effort to make a play just to get a call is a big no-no in hockey and you will be hated. I am surprised that mostly Pens fans can stand him at all. Hell, even Malkin is influenced a little by Crosby, he doesn't run his mouth or talk to the refs at all but the way these 2 guys fall instead of making an effort to stand up is very similar. It goes against everything that hockey stands for.

No doubt that Crosby is a good playmaker but he has the wrong attitude for the game. If he and Malkin keeps this up, they're going to be one of the most hated players in the league, maybe beating out Avery. Actually no, I wouldn't compare Avery with the likeness of Sidney, Avery is all that is man. It's kind of saddening to see Penguin fans catering to Crosby and Malkin, he's never going to stop it unless every single player in the league puts a bullseye on the head and then he may stop it. Hell, I think the refs are getting annoyed by him too.

He might turtle up and all that jazz but I believe he's a lot smarter than anyone gives him credit for. Everyone has this image that he's some dumb jock that doesn't know how to do anything but be a pest. He's actually very smart about the game (other than his defensive skills or lack thereof) but his personality is and will always be a pest.
 
because the city couldnt fund a new arena (it still hasnt paid off three rivers stadium, let alone pnc park and heinz field), rendell (fuck him) wouldnt give anyone a gambling license, and the owners were tired of the team playing in mellon arena, which, while full of memories, is also a shithole. the fans and city officials were the only things keeping the penguins in pittsburgh.

they were tops in penalty killing though, but not power play. They were atrocious.

Ha jealous though? Of the Penguins? Why would I be? They showed up for 3/4 games, Flyers didn't they deserved to lose. Now i'm not saying Penguins didn't catch some breaks with Crosby's dives and constant whining to the referee's, but They overall have played better in this series and deserve to be where they all now.

I'm stoked the flyers grabbed a win, and came out and showed some grit, thats how they play, its good to finally see it come out! Do I think they still have a chance to win? Absolutely! They're a talented team, Lupul, Richards, Briere....on and on, considering they don't have one of there usual best players (Simon Gagne) The team has done GREAT! I was rubbing the win in your faces cuz it wasn't a "sweep" like most of you were calling for. Flyers have plenty of fight left. Pitt should beable to take it, But don't count the Flyers out, young teams can struggle in the most vital points of a series...its not over tell someone has won 4 games.

well looks like Philly is done, i love watching Pittsburgh players take down the Flyers guys behind the play and nothing happens where if a Penguin falls over its an instantaneous penalty even if the guy is 3 ft away with no contact, not to mention both goals could've been turned around....you can't tell me he didn't change the direction of his foot to redirect the puck in, which is supposed to be considered a kick...and a holding the stick when the goalie is in the corner....i dont know...kinda iffy.

Biron tried to get physical, and like an idiot dropped his stick. malone wasn't even looking down when the puck hit his foot, he had no idea it was there until it already deflected off of him.
 
did you and I see the same replay? On NBC you could see he clearly changed the direction of his foot to redirect it.

Not to mention the reff's have'nt called Fleruy for playing the puck in the trapezoid twice. Not saying it would even make a difference though Philly looks like shit ha. Just stating how much these reffs are letting fly for the pigeons.
 
good for Hossa he deserves too they're outplaying philly. My point is they're sure getting friendly support from the zebras! As stated on FSN.
 
flyers are done, they had a good run.

now i just have to cheer on the red wings, providing they win. I really do not want to see Cindy or Malkin touch the cup.
 
Yeah, its a shame, and while i'd rather see Dallas win the cup than any of the teams left....I'll probably have to root for Detroit, just so I don't have to see the penguins win the cup....thats coming from a Colorado Av's fan too.
