Idea here, make it possible to search specific fourms not just across the entire site. IE, Site discussion, Ski Gabber, NSG, etc.
Also completely unrelated, do donations still get you the $ icon?

On mobile, it says I'm not logged in but I am.it won't let me log out or view account. I have a iphone 7 too if that helps.

Did the behavior of the three lines button or menu button or whatever its called change? The one on the top left. When I'm anywhere other than home, it's always home, not the menu. So if I'm in this thread and want to go back to the thread listings I can't. I have to go home first then go back to the thread listings. Likewise if I'm in SG and want to go to NSG I have to go home first. I'm on an iphone.

Can you guys make it so once youre in the forums, you stay in the forums? For example if i hit ski gabber from the side menu, instead of having a button that brings you home, it takes you back to the main page of all the forums.
I hope that makes sense...the whole navigation of the app seems ass backwards to me. I feel like theres a lot of unnecessary button clicking and having to back track to get to you were before.

We fought with this for a ton of time, and what is there is the best we could come up with for now that made the most users happy.
Try going to the main forum page first, then you'll come back to the main forum page. If you go directly to the forum, you'll come back to the homepage.
We had to do this for people who click on a forum thread off the homepage, and don't want to be stuck deep down in the forums after that.

That means essentially you have 2 home buttons 90% of the time while youre in the app. If you go anywhere in the app from the homepage the "back" button leads you back to home...when you have a home button on the bar at the bottom of the screen.

just got a new phone and the bottom bar intrrudes on the “safe area” that’s supposed to be around the home bar. I hate that the home bar is always on the screen on iOS in general but it looks like it’s here to stay and it’s againt apples guidelines to put anything too close to it, bumping up the bottom navigation bar by a few points would be perfect

Well, I have something to ask for. I’ve got the iPhone X, I dunno if someone else here does, but my problems come from closing the app. As we don’t have a button, but a tiny bar in the bottom instead I’ve closed the app when I’ve reached out the bottom bar, as the “home button” just covers 3 icons down there. Is it possible to group all those icons in the left side, with an expandable to show them up?

Blocking someone does not actually work on the mobile app. For example, I blocked broccollirabe and it still shows up whenever he PMs me as a notifcation on the app.

it's been just about 150 days since apple announced the screen layout to developers for the iphone X and so far the NS app has been updated during that time, but there hasn't been any fixes for the layout error. The app already uses auto-layout to some extent since it fills the screen, but the tab bar impedes on the home bar indicator as myself and others have already pointed out in this thread.
I know its a minor thing for a minor amount of users but its really not that hard of a fix, the home bar needs 39 points of space according to a quick google search, and the tab bar rests above that occupying the remaining 44, same as other iphones

Update launched to address this, can you try it out and let us know if it works on iPhone X the way you want it to?

The bottom navigation menu is still taking up the normal height and not expanded to give the homebar room. Here’s a screenshot using the latest update

don’t see it on my update page yet but I’ll forsure test and get back to you, and yea I highly recommend it, gestures are the future over buttons and the screen is incredible
separate issue, I just uploaded a new edit yesterday and I keep seeing different thumbnails on different devices. I pretty much instantly uploaded a custom thumbnail yet NS seems stuck on whatever default frame it chose, and it took a long time on the NS app to switchover to the one I chose. In the future should I chose upload at a later date vs immidietly to allow for the video to encode/thumbnail be set before it’s live?
I know it’s just a thumbnail but I think the difference between someone clicking (or tapping) on an edit with a shitty one vs “good” one is significant

I restarted my phone and now the apps nav bar is the correct height! Whatever update you pushed worked without even updating the app in the appstore on my end, thank you for fixing this!

I tried out the app and love the idea but have found it uses a lot more data than I wish to use because Im cheapy with a tracfone. Are there any data saving settings in the app?
On the same topic for info purposes I also have found that I cannot view the forums on Opera browser on my phone if any of the browser data saving features are on. It will work in opera mini but the sites functionality is all screwed up and you cant see parts of the page.
