The Norwegian Fred Syvertsen accidentely hits an 320feet high cliff with a speed of 80km/h.. After the drop they find him over 2.5 meter down in the snow.. And then he skis down to the heli..

how do you "accidentily" hit a 320 foot cliff going 80 kmh?

need some proof before i believe that one

He did a Jamie Piere. Got buried and ppl had to dig him out then he skied down. I wouldn't count this as landing in my opinion but i don't have the balls to hit something this big either so i can't say shit...

When it comes to cliffs of this size it seems like the only thing that matters is not dying. Still would like to see pics/video. Accidentally hitting a cliff that big seems a little weird.

prove me wrong... but i dont believe this one bit. especialy coming from a newb, and not posting after the initial post is always sketchy..

320ft at 80km/h. Assuming the landing was not flat which i doubt it would be. to be going 80 km/h off the cliff would lead to him going over 400ft away. I seriously doubt this

"filminnspilling i alpene med Thierry Donard og Nuit de la Glisse at den norske frikjøringsveteranen Fred Roar Syversen (42) misset sin planlagte kjørelinje. I en fart"

I don't pretend to know Swedish, but I think it's saying something like this:

"While filming in the mountains with Thierry Donard (French filmer) for Nuit de la Glisse, Norwegian freeskiing veteran Freddy missed his intended line.  Then he farted."  Actually, fart means something having to do with speed, but I need a little help with the rest of that text.  Too many crazy looking words.  Any Scandos?

Should be interesting on film, that's for sure, but who knows what happened with the camera guys when the guy they're shooting hits a 320 footer by mistake.  Hopefully they got a good shot without freaking.

I've got lots of respect for this gut to go huck this, but I've got to point out that the record for ski-jumping is almost 800 ft.

That would be so fucking scary to be skiing what you think is your line of choice and then just have the ground drop out from under you when you're mobbing down. Holy fuck.

really ! this happened.. he was filming with Thierry Donard in the Alps. And then he missed his line and accidentely hitted the cliff.. Dont know if they got the video.. but after the accident he skied to the heli and got flied to the hospital..the guy is 42 years old... http://friflyt.no/index.php?pagenr=12&articlenr=54990 check it out self.. its on norwegian though.. but it says: Fred Syvertsen with a new cliffjump record, not on purpose.

I wana see this vid bad, just skiin, suddenly off your line, over a cliff, then u realize u got 320 to the ground, gotta be just a lil scary

it's not easy to ski a technical line exactly as you planned even when you're really familiar with the area. I can't tell you how many times I've gone over a larger cliff than i was planning on hitting, thinking "Shit! I thought the big cliff was on the other side of that tree."

If you're not familiar with the area, skiing a line according to plan gets downright difficult. I'm sure he was positive that he wasn't going to ski off a 300 foot cliff.
