I live in norhtern Jersey, and Mt. creek has a great park for being in NJ. Sure the mountain is full of dicks in jeans, but have you been to Mt snow, windham, or hunter? They are all too. The park isnt as crowded anymore because of the park pass, which was a great idea. The pipe is pretty good, and I really like the little lob jibs set up in mt creek right now, they are a ton of fun.
 
again, you are ignorant. i'm 21, and have skied 62 days so far this year, so obviously i dont just sit on newschoolers all day and make fun of kids. i also go to school full time and work for a web design firm when i'm not in school. you just look dumber and dumber every time you post.
 
ok? so do a lot of people. i'm not the only one buddy. its kind of like a personal goal to hit a certain number of days each year. it makes you go up some days you otherwise wouldnt have, and sometimes those days, like tonight, skiing bear's pipe in the rain, turn out to be the most fun days of the year.
 
haha i do too..and about all of my hard skier friends do too...its like a game....so stop trying to bust when there is nothing to bust on
 
Oh my God, Mt. Creek blows. All the Jersey kids can go knit themselves another fag hat. Bear Creek fucking owns Mt. Creek hands down. End of story.
 
When comparing Mt Creek and Bear Creek, neither is a good mountain. Thats about it. Mt Creek prob has a better park though
 
well i havent read any of the comments on this thread, just the title, and it makes me sick. Creek is soo legit and if you are bitching about takeoffs being urban style then go raicing....creek is soo incredible and it will own you....and the local skier guys are fucking cool.
 
MT Creek is geared more to riders so it should produce some snowboarding talent? how come they couldn't send a kid with skills to the next snow event? Billy Keil from Big Boulder won the slopestyle in this national comp for 13 and under kids!!!
 
i was at the superski fling this weekend, and i dont understand how any of you can say that MC sucks. i have ridden all over PA, and it is DEFINATELY safe to say that MC absolutely OWNS an other 'resort' in PA, PA blows lets face it. and the urban set-up onto rails at MC is soooo sick, i loved it, everything was set-up perfectly, i dont understand how you guys could say that it sucked. i rode park city earlier this season and some of the set-ups at MC are just as good as the ones at park city, now thats saying something. and the local guys there are awesome, so dont hate.
 
yeah i agree bear is better then MC but onlly if you want to go tubing.

And really who can talk this season. Everywhere on the eastcoast has had one of the worst seasons ever. so lets all drop this shit about whos better and leave it for next year when places can acutally setup a good park with all their features in it (like MC)
 
maybe they changed it, im just saying when i was there i thought it sucked. im sure its legit most of the time cause of the rep you guys got, just when i was there i was havin no fun.
 
i read the entire thread and this reply pretty much sumed it up

-urban setups are good but not every rail and not ones tht skiers cant even do

-mtn. creek does lack medium sized rails and hits

-the jumps are good but its hard to get speed

- they have good feteaures but bad setups for skiers

this is just my opinion and its based on my skill. other very skilled people might not have these problems

but in general, its new jersey and for what it is, its a great park tht deserves respect and the freeskiers tht ride there are great
 
I'm an idiot, I got so caught up in the first page I forget it was an old thread and there were 5 pages, so I guess just enjoy the edit, and props to the Roundtop Riders.
 
Eddie shut up. I know there is no way on earth yoyu can do the rails at Mountain Creek cause their beat as hell. Bear creek is my favorit resort in the world and and no resort near us beats it Nufff said
 
creeks shit is mostly for snowboarders and thats that .... most of the complaints about creek would be that you cant get tech coming onto som of the rail/boxes becasue they arnt set up perfectly and you and catch yourself getting onto them, and i do beleive that mountains in PA have much nicer set ups than creek ... as far as skiing goes, but creek is still soooo sick in many many ways do not get me wrong
 
If Nipples says so we will visit MC again, but really, the way they ran the Nextsnow comp for the little groms and the quality of the park and it's features, the stupidly long lift lines, lousy parking, the one time we were there...

 
Dude..your son is homosexual. The quality of the park at MC is leaps and bounds better than anything in PA. Nothing even comes close. you are making a fool of yourself old man.

Exactly!!! You left shitty PA to come to MC and film at a real park! If your parks were so great (hell, they arent even mediocre) you wouldnt need to go to MC.

 
Find a staged photo? THE ONE day we were there for a competition nothing even came close to representing those pics. We were there end of January - we had already been to a dozen other resorts by that time. I am not making it up. MC at that time of the year comparitively to other resorts was nearly at the bottom of the quality list.

MCkilledCB - question for you. Your mother works in the marketing department at MC correct?
 
So you were there for ONE day and your automatically an expert on the place? Everyone else and there brother know that MC owns any PA resorts yet you and your homosexual son are the kings of terrain parks? Get a clue.

What are you talking about staged photo...Almost everyday that we;'ve been to MC the parks look like that. You just cant go late at night when everything is tracked out..

My Mom? Why do you have such interestin my mom? She works at the bank in town if you must know.

Soo...find any photos yet? I bet you won't...
