Mt. Creek sucks my left one

Noone on the east coast has even heard of Bear Creek while the "Jiblab" and Mountain Creek Park is nationally recognized.

Face it! STOP BEING SO IGNORANT. All of you rails are SO SO SO tiny. Like, for little kids. You have nothing challenging and the setups are the gheyist ever. ALSO, admit it already. Your rails fall apart. A friend of mine rides their and he said theres been at least 3 rails at Bear Creek that completely fell apart. You guys rock! All 500ft of you! bye bye.

I happened to enjoy my evening stay at bear creek 2/24/06, great hospitality, i broke my binding before comp and they refunded me fully. Yes the mountain is small, yes they do have some small rails, which are located in the smaller terrain park? Then when you go to the bigger park, (lets this about this...) obviously more CHALLENGING hits and rails. For what Bear Creek has to work with, they def put all 500 ft to good use. I assure you in the future, one of these 500ft mountains will easily thrown down a better park then bigger mountains. Since Freestyle skiing/snowboarding is getting more and more popular.
 
if bear is so much better, how come they dont have any famous comps? ask anyone that lives out west if they heard of bear creek, i bet you 80 percent will say, "you mean bear in colorado?"
 
mid atlantic snowboard series, grand prix, nextsnow qualifier, freeski superfling, forum youngblood series, AND mountain creek is also a water park in the summer, so it kicks bear's ass
 
^ cant put all your thoughts together into one cohesive statement, huh? nipples has nothing to do with this, but if i'm correct, i'm pretty sure he said he didnt like creek all too much either. and all those comps you mentioned? the only one exclusive to creek is the freeski superfling thing; all the others happen at other mountains too, including bear, blue, roundtop, liberty, and several other PA mountains. sure, we dont have the superfling, but bear has its own comp series, as does boulder. blue and roundtop both have an end of the year comp weekend too. ever think maybe creek gets a little help in the publicity department from the wonderful people of intrawest? money goes a long way towards making yourself look good in a magazine.
 
did i ever say bear hosted a grand prix? no, i didnt. way to be ignorant. i said other mountains besides creek host the grand prix; creek is just one stop.

dude ur so fucking dumb... the only reason mc has all that pubicity is because they pay for it... bear puts there money into improving their park.. i already said u have a better pipe than us and ill also bet that bear will get some publicity soon not because they pay for it but because they put out a legit park... also as an employee of bear i dont understand how 3 rails have broken and teh park crew doesnt know about it... the only thing that got messed up this year was teh u box and teh c box and they were both fixed and put back on teh hill quickly... im sure that rails at mountain creek have had similar problems... u are so ignorant its not even funny uve never even been 2 bear but u are so intent that it sucks.. grow up and bear will get the coverage it deserves in comming months and mountain creek will have to keep up if they want to have the premier park in the region

1. honest question, i swear to god: do locals at mc think its funny that their park is sponsored by tylenol?

2. both mountains have mtn bike trails...even though bc's are really new...they're gonna be sweet all in good time...but mtn creek has a bunch of big races there..so it must be good...

does anyone know if mc has more singletrack or downhill?

Regarding what you said...I have a subscription to Freeskier magazine and I've checke EVERY issue so far this year and I have NOT seen 1 Mountain Creek ad. If your theory is correct, why would Freeskier inadvertently give MC publicity if they don't even advertise in the mag? That makes no sense.

Oh. I apologize...2 of your rails fell apart. Not 3....I've never seen ANY of MC's rail become a danger and have had to come off the hill.

Lastly...I've been to Bear and honestly it is a joke..You seem to forget that your little park was MUD half of this season while MC was still going strong. I highly doubt Bear will get ANY coverage when they can't even keep their snow white!

i know a lot of events (esp. motocross, the olympics, etc) have sponsers that dont really relate to anything they're about(motocross/supercross: butterfingers...olymics: mcdonalds)
 
thats decent....a lot of people are good at rails around here though...well atleast roundtop...its just super hard to find people who kill jumps as well
 
there were kids throwin down at boulder on friday night, despite the icy /hard conditions...it was so awesome to watch...i was in awe...i dont even know what those guys were pulling but the tricks/spins were massive and inverted and sweet.
 
How about the pics in skiier of mtn creek in dirt (see the global warming article) in subscript it says "global warming or just jersey" and intrawest owns mountain creek and intrawest has many ads in freeskier... this is the end of the srguement it is pointless to go on... noones opinions are going to change, just go out and ski

wow...glad i stayed out of this one...but god damnit mountain creek is so damn full of themselves. i cant even remember all the shit i just read cas there was too much of it, lets see, one thing that stood out, no challenging rails? what the fuck?!? a 48 foot U rail, a 2 story wallride, 40 foot rainbow, 70 foot tripple up flat down with gaps inbetween, round bar, double barrel Y rail, just wow...i dont know where your getting that theres nothing challenging. oh yeah i forgot about our S rail.

hmm what else, oh yeah, pipe, from what i heard bear is looking into getting a superpipe for next year(and keeping the old one for little kids to fuck around in). plus for sure our park is expanding once again to add another almost completely top to bottom double wide park area.

verticle's would be used as an argument either for size of park(which you cant use because yours isnt top to bottom), or for acuall groomer skiing, not how good your park is.

Bear's setup is setup in a variety of ways, and the park crew is out sooooo much during the day working on everything making sure its perfect. now, our setups, bear often has urban setups, i've seen many this year alone, (blue has a stairset too). now the good thing about bear, is the park is basically run by skiers. good skiers at that. would you rather have a snowboarder seting everything up in the park, or some fellow skiers? Since the core park crew is on NS, we can make request's here, or to them directly at the mountain and if there is enough input they will acually put the feature out there. its the most rider friendly park i've ridden, not because the features arent hard, but they are setup correctly.

jiblab? fuck that, we could slap a gay name on our garage and think we are hot shit too. Andy has been pumping out crazy stuff for the last few years and i can only expect better in the years to come.

what you guys are going to have to face, bear creek's park is exploding. we are getting more money, more sponsers, more publicity, more rails, everything a good park needs, by the year, and i know its sad, at a faster rate than mountain creek. if we continue to grow like this we will be "better" than mt. creek very soon. now am i saying mt. creek sucks? NO, i'm just saying you cant talk shit on bear when its going to grow bigger than your own mountain, and i know a lot of people on here can back me up on how much we've grown the past few years.

bottom line, if your going to talk shit about a park you've never been too, or havent been to recently for the lame ass reasons you guys have been stating lately, STAY THE FUCK IN JERSEY!
 
mc jiblap pumps out some of the moust inovative shit out there. there rails ar e top quality and i have never heard of a mc rail breaking our parks is 10 times better then any of your pussy shit in pa. bear has nothing on creek bottom line. creek gets the respect the deserve and there park crew is top notch. and how is your shit better becuase it is made by skiers you kids are retarded

its better because its put in/made by skiers(and has snowboarder input, trust me its not just for skiers), that means it wont have a manditory 2 foot ollie onto each rail like ive heard MC has. That shits easy for a SNOWBOARDER, thats not skier friendly, urban setups are diff. but not a striaght rail, that just makes shit gay.

try backing your stuff up next time. oh yeah, sorry for the hate on jiblab, i mean i know its a good thing, its just i hear a lot of over-hype about it.

All you Jersey Fucks will be driving to PA within the next two years. Both Bear and Blue are on the rise, and fast. On another forum, one of bears head managers is on their and he gives us updates on next years shit, and Bear will be fucking nuts. Blue is also blowing up right now. IMO MC is setup more boarder oriented, and having a lot of urban shit gets boring, a varitey is better. Just wait though when your ugly yellow license plates will be in our parking lots.
