bear, at night, for their big air comp. those lips look pretty perfectly manicured to me.

i dont know what you're trying to prove here. sure, creek may look more visually appealing because the cut the backs and sides of their lips down, but ultimately, you're not skiing on that part of the lip unless you suck anyway. maybe the roundtop kids came to creek to film because you can only have so many shots of the same stuff in a video? you don't see pros shooting videos entirely at mammoth, and its arguably one of the best parks in the country. we have fun where we ski, and you obviously feel that creek is superior to anything we have, so do us all a favor and stay their. i'm sure you're no fun to ride with anyway; you'd just complain about how nothing compares to your beloved trash heap back home.
 
most of us all have been to MC - when have you ever been anywhere else? Are you planning to come over the river to one of the pocono mountains? Why are you so hot and heavy about MC - I dunno mckilledcb, seems like you are an angry 14 year old who is stuck at MC who just likes to type crap.
 
I cant believe that I just sat and read all of these silly ass threads for the last half an hour. I told myself I wouldnt do it, but there I went fuckin readin em..every last one....I gotta headache, and my balls itch
 
Just what I thought...You lamers talk-up PA so much and you can't provide any photos of any park even in the same league as MC.

And yes, our crew has been over the river to check out some of your "hills" and it was pretty embarassing. BARE Creek was all mud (MC was snow), there jibs were tiny and setup oldschool. enough said. enjoy that 500ft of vert! Make sure you get enough dryland training in!
 
first, bear creek is much farther south than mountain creek, and when everyone else got snow last year, they got rain, and did pretty well for what they had to work with. second, and i'll say it again, just because a setup doesnt look picture perfect doesnt mean that its not awesome to ride. third, your "mountain" has less vert than my "hill" (blue mountain). go back into your hole.
 
Hahaha that was a clever spelling of Bear Creek. I think you might be the first one to do that...

Are you honestly bringing a vert argument up in your self made competition between mountains in PA and a mountain in Jersey? Have you ever left Jersey? I flew over Mt. Rainier yesterday, but I'm pretty sure Mountain Creek was bigger by at least a few feet.
 
i think this thread should die. Who cares whose mountain is better. It doesnt matter. I go to MC cuz its closer and has a good park. Theres no reason to go to a farther place if they both have decent parks. At first i hated the urban setups but i see them as a challenge and tht makes it fun. Who cares what the lodge looks like. Its about the skiing. So i think people should shutup and ski
 
exactly! he goes to creek because its close, and he has fun there! we have a winner folks. thats why i go to blue and bear, because they are close, i know everyone who rides there, and i have a good time.
 
i know i shouldnt be posting in this thread to put it back up to the top but i would like to say that mtn creek is awesome and i love it, and ive been to bear creek and it has a good park with a lot of amazing skiers there

i just have to bring this back cause i read the whole thread and you people piss me off. who cares if pa got less snow and had to work with it? mc is still better. i'm sorry we don't get rain and try to make the best of it. who cares who tries harder? the more important thing is that mc has a better park with SNOW.
 
not if they don't ever open. BB is the place to be this year. Opened last tuesday, - Blue (opened today) and BC have all stepped up thier game. It doesn't look good for MC this year.
 
papsteeze is correct.

jiblab is going to have to step their game up a lot this year.

shawn and julian pretty much made the creek park what it is today, but they're at BB now, and the stuff there looks sick.

The current jiblabbers don't have a lot of jib fabrication or snowcat experience. Plus creek looks like it won't be open until christmas-ish...."blast to last, not thin to win". They don't want to open up with a thin base just so people can get an early season thrill.
 
hey girl, you did get a really good addition to jib lab with Chris (skier150) He has the experience to make things happen if he has support. Thats a good guy you guys got.
