Hey ns, how many of you mountain bike?

Post anything that has to do with mountain biking!

Here are some cool video of my favorite place to ride: Duthie Hill Park!

yea xc is fun, but im more into freeride/DH. Theres all sorts of good riding near where i live so im into everything!

Damn that place looks fun. I wish it was around when I used to be really into riding. I used to ride exit 27 and exit 38 a lot.

Loove to mountain bike, I live on the North shore and i have all of cypress mountain trails right in my backyard which is endless fun. In the summer i spend all my time in whistler either shredding the DH occasionally but mostly the XC trails.
My first highschool league XC race was last week (placed 4th) and these were my legs after:

it was soo muddy and cold but all around pretty fun race, i have got another tomorrow. Anyone else going to BC highschool provincials in salmon arm this year? Also....change your icon i had it first :3

Duthie Hill is fucking sick. Wish I was better so I could hit the big stuff, but that trail in the ravine is way too much fun.

yea dude ryans line is sick. i helped build it! but as for the big stuff you will get there. just takes practice and alota balls.

i have the same frame but i have the boxxer fork and white rims. I like mine alot, i dont see why people hate on them so much

mhmm mine's less than 14 pounds, the kid i bought it off used a water bottle to weigh it down so he could race.

Ryan's Line. There we go. I was trying to remember what it was called. I've only been once since I live in Olympia but that place was really fun. Pump track needs some work though...

ive been thinking about getting a singlespeed for xc. what do u have and whats it like? can u even do technical climbs at all? i could see a singlespeed ripping like crazy on smoothish, rolling terrain.

i paid $1700. it was worth about $8000 when i bought it, the friend i bought it off is sponsored by Giant and gets a new bike free every year. he was selling it cause he needed some cash to move for school.

Ya, i fucking hate my deemax rims, they're meant for tubless, but i run them with tubes, and it takes an hour to change them.

still got NWD 1 and search for the holy trail on VHS. i've been involved for a while you could say. here's an incredible still frame of me on my 3" diamond back in 2004...

i have a vassago jabberwocky 29'er ss and it's the most unbelievable bike i've ridden. they rip technical climbs just fine actually, you just need to get it up to speed but due to the efficiency of the drive train and the 29'er they carry an unreal amount of momentum

that being said i ride on the east coast. i wouldn't want one out west where, from my experience, you ride up for a long time and then down for a long time, not tons of short technical ups and downs

used to downhill bike. Not race, just have fun.

I'm from Golden, BC.

Two crazy Downhill mountains there (Kicking Horse and Mt.7)

Anyone heard of psychosis? That was always awesome to watch. I entered it back when I was 16 or so, blew my fork up.

I went once last year, and haven't really been since.

I tore my wrist ligament that connects my ulna to my wrist after a nasty fall. That was the last of my downhill days.

Bike for sale if anyone wants it.

XC here, mostly local trails, no hill. I make the drive to highlands ever now and then, a few times a summer. I have a Slayer SXC 50, thing is a fucking tank of an XC bike, but I love it. It obviously doesn't handle incredibly well, but that's not an issue where I ride, plus it can hold its own aside from the geometry at Highlands.

I have a k2 bike idk what kind though. I started doin a bit on this crazy trail i found near my house Its supper fun and i do a crazy mile long steep ass climb to get to it so it keeps me in shape too.

I do a bit of everything. haha I have the yeti dirt jumper and the 575. i've won a DH race with just over 5 in. on the front fork when most others had 9. So suspension doesn't really madder. also any tips on 3's for a bike. I fail at those

i mountain bike at my local state park. it is basically a big hill so its lots of up hill and lots of downhill. i have a 2002 specialized enduro hardtail. it's the last year they made the enduro hard tail. it is really good up hill and in flat areas. but now that is it getting small for me and most of the trails are getting more and more rocky i want to get a new enduro or at least an all mountain bike

you gotta prett the button that as an "f" on it that says video "embedcode" and you have to use the old embed code

05 Devinci Kicker. Size Medium (back when I was young).

there is an 06 or 07 Jr.T on it, hasn't been abuse, but it got scratched up loading into a car (not the stantions, just the outside black part). Sadly, cable brakes. I put a new rear cassette on it before it got put away forever.

Throw me an offer.

Only problem I see would be shipping, seeing as it is in BC, and you're somewhere (I forget already)
