The have such confidence instilling edge hold while somehow also being so easy to scrub/pivot/mess around on that I don’t even need to think about transitioning between the two. Some truly unbelievable stuff - I’m a real fanboy now.

We've recently migrated skiburger to a hidden portion of the main website. We did this to allow customers to purchase older skis as well as bindings, apparel, skins, etc...all in one order.
You can now access skiburger through this link only:https://www.momentskis.com/collections/skiburger
It's slim pickings right now as we blew through most of the old stuff during Black Friday weekend, but if you're ever in search of a cosmetic blemish or discounted pair you can still reach out to me directly at max@momentskis.com
Happy Holidays!

14575852:PartyBullshiit said:Both my 112 and 104 are 184 for exactly the reason you said. I ski a lot in trees and really appreciate that shorter length in tight places. Especially on my 104. I demoed a 190 112 a while back and have a 190wc and just do not enjoy either as much in tight places as would be expected. You just feel that tail hanging out there.
on the 104 I wouldn’t go 190 unless I planned to use it exclusively in more open spaces.
14575916:-eREKTion- said:I just mounted a pair of Mindbender 99’s that I had laying around (at +3 so we’ll see how it goes). But next year I need to invest in a narrower ski for sure, DW104 in 184 with CAST seems like a pretty perfect setup.
14577947:jhnegbrt said:Sup yall, wanted to see if anyone had insight on chipotle banana mount point.
Based on the blister review I’m tempted to go -1 but I messaged the moment site chat and they were like “we recommend a specific spot for a reason” which has scared me off from -1 a little.
for reference, I ride the deathwish 184 at rec and the wc 101 179 at +1 from rec. I’m 5’10” 184
any help appreciated!

Unfortunately they're not offering demos until later in the month and I'm leaving for a trip next week. It's between the Deathwish and the Countach based off everything I've read about and want in a ski. If you were taking a long roadtrip (i'm going to the rockies, wyoming, bc, pnw) and could only bring one pair, would you bring the DW or the Countach?

I'd describe my ability level as on the low-end of advanced, and I'm looking for something that I can pack for any given trip out to CO, UT, CA, and BC area resorts for mostly on-piste enjoyment.
Going to be hitting Park City from 1/9-1/17, is there anywhere near SLC or Park City that does Moment demos? Would love to try out any of the following; Commander 102, DW104, DW112, Countach 110.

14578373:PartyBullshiit said:Would highly recommend the dw112 over the others. Again it’s going to be the most usable across the widest range of conditions. Since you’re talking about visiting multiple resorts which will give you multiple conditions snow wise.
the 104 will not perform as well when things start to get deeper. I have both the 104 and 112 and if I had to choose only 1 it would be 112 for a wider range of conditions it can perform in.
the commander is going to be very directional and very chargy with its metal inlays but not as “friendly” across the whole mountain.
countach is going to be more playful than the commander and have great float for a 110. Still chargy and less playful than the deathwish line.
if you were traveling with two skis I’d say the wish 104 and the countach.
if you’re looking for a one ski quiver for travel the deathwish is the only answer out of the list.

I demoed DW out of SLC before buying last year and it was a super easy experience.

Droppin by with my 2024 moment quiver, hyped for another season on these awesome sticks
14578308:PartyBullshiit said:For one ski to do it all over your trip the deathwish all day everyday. It’s going to perform better across a huge range of conditions that you’ll likely encounter at different resorts. Countach while good doesn’t perform well across as many conditions as the DW.
14579187:afjaom said:Thanks for that. I’m pretty set on the DW now. Now for the size dilemma. 184 or 190 for someone 6’00” 170-180ish. ?

14579265:PartyBullshiit said:Really it comes down to what you’re planning on using them for. I use mine in trees and tighter areas so i went with the 184 for maneuverability. I’m 6’0 185lbs.
if you plan on more open spaces I’d go 190. If you want to use it in tighter places go 184

14579419:afjaom said:Welp you guys made some convincing arguments for the 190, but I took a chance on the 184 thinking it would suit me better as a daily driver. Hope that was the right choice. Either way I’m psyched to finally own some moments. Awesome experience with the people over there.
14579869:sdram said:Looking for some advice... I'm 5'11" 150lbs and thinking about the wildcat 108s. I want something that I can really feel confident charging on... would you recommend 184 at +2 from rec or 179? I currently ride vishnu wet+ at 183 in the park and prodigy 2.0s at 177 as a daily driver.
14579874:PartyBullshiit said:If you’re looking for more charge 184. I have the 108 in a 179 but I wanted a more agile feel in tight spots. Mounted at the recommended line. All my moments are mounted at the rec line. They’ve never steered me wrong with the mount.
14580188:sdram said:Okay thanks. I'm a little bit nervous that the 184s will be too much ski for me... But I am looking and wanting to charge harder. Should I just pull the trigger on the 184s or will the 179 give me enough of what I need to feel confident to ski bigger? ... Sorry for all the questions, so conflicted... Fwiw, my 177 Prodigy 2.0s feel super comfy to maneuver and get jibby, but not comfy to go fast through chop or landing drops.
