Any idea what mount point amigo ?

Rec line is -10cm and great for traditional skiers. Most athletes mount at +2 (-8cm) for a bit more freestyle influence or increased maneuverability for off piste skiing.

More info on geometry?

140 - 110 - 130

-8cm rec mount

21.0m cut on the 188 length

Rockered tip, traditional camber underfoot, flat splayed out tail

Biased view but [tag=173075]@tcurle[/tag] skis it often.

So many people at the Summit brought up that poster after we mentioned the name.

Guess since the cat's out of the bag I can answer any questions y'all have regarding it.

What lengths are you guys planning to release the countach in? Blister posted the deets but left out lengths. I believe it was Luke lol.

You guys dropping Bibby pros again in the old scheme?

Pretty sure that's Jonathan's original pair of Bibby Pros, and no plans to reproduce.

Can’t blame you guys for displaying them. It’s still one of the most beautiful top sheets on any ski period.

countach’s will be dropping with the 24 line?

will you guys have any at the shop to demo by chance? I’ll be out there next month.

I currently have the 182 and 188 on demo at the factory.

The 182 is music to my ears. Really excited to try that. Is the online stock fairly representative of what’s at the factory for pick up? Or are there a few gems floating around if we come in person?

Email me directly at max@momentskis.com if you have something in mind, otherwise we usually have a few things hiding in the back from previous years.

For current stock, the website reflects what's in the storefront.

I'm skiing the DW104 as a travel ski/only ski right now. Considering getting a narrower low-tide and something like a Countach as my soft snow/powder cruiser. I'm directional. Why would I consider this over the WC or WC108?

Wildcat 101 is waaay more apt to park skiing than the Deathwish 104. If you're planning on spending any amount of time lapping the park, I'd go WC.

Shipping 02/10/23:https://www.momentskis.com/collections/22-23/products/wildcat

[tag=144811]@hot.pocket[/tag] would you mind elaborating on this? What does the WC101 do better in the park? Is it primarily buttering, or something else? I'm in a similar boat to the person that had asked about it. I got the standard WC101-vs-DW104 from the chat on the moment site and liked the sound of the DW104, but this is making me think twice

You probably don't get this request too often but a relatively light weight, partial twin, ski in the low to mid 90s width, with lengths around 152, 159,166, with turn radii from 15-16 to 17-18 scaled to the length. I think it might be a winner for some folks out there? Perhaps offered in a touring layup as well?

So basically just a narrower Countach in shorter lengths...?

Hold that thought, we might not have them available at this time. Sorry for any confusion.

I’ll be there end of next month. So fingers crossed you’ll have some on hand to demo.

other wise I’ll just have to suffer through some demo deathwish ?

Good night, god bless X

Absolutely, just give me a length and width range in the email.

Blades came in hot and went out fast. Anyone else lucky enough to snag a pair? Myself and my friend grabbed a set. Can’t wait to mount up some pivots.

I had the text in time but refrained from purchasing. I've already bought too many skis this year. Just mounted up a pair of deathwishes, took 'em out the other day and they rip, pumped to get them back out tomorrow and over the weekend.

Picking up some wish 104’s at the factory end of month. Going to grab my blades in person too. Super stoked.

having my cat 108 mounted while out there.

Has anyone bought a pair of blems in previous years? Looking to pick up a pair of commanders this year if they do the sale this spring.

Was just curious about the extent of the blemishes if anyone can chime in.

Here’s my blem cat. Nothing major. Tiny little dots on the base. My friend has two more as well. On his cat there was a tiny little mark on the top sheet. We couldn’t find the blem on his commander 98.

My buddy got a pair of DW 104 blems last year. There's a half-inch-long white mark on the topsheet. I'm guessing the topsheet art folded over itself during assembly. Honestly you wouldn't know it was there if you didn't look for it. Kinda crazy how a minuscule art defect leads to such a big discount.

How are commander 108 in chop? I don’t need a true powder ski since most of my fresh days end up being chop and soft moguls. I prefer directional skis, but maybe there’s another I should be looking at.

If you like plowing through it they're one of the best tools in the shed

That’s what I’m looking for. Something that can charge through if I need to. Are they best sized up? I’m 5’9” 150 lbs, so not huge. I like my 176 all mountains right now, but was eyeing the 182 for these potentially.

Also can confirm C108s are an absolute dream for nuking through chop. If you’re an advanced skier and want these to go fast I’d get the 182s, I’m 6’0 175lbs on the 188s and they’re perfect.

If you're on a stiff 176 and want something for crud charging the 182 could be a good call. Colton Shaff is one of our athletes and rides the 182 at 5'9".

Raw for sure, gold might look killer too, gotta get some pop you know

Was thinking that as well. The gold could look cool with the tan/pinkish color. Whatever I come across first for a solid price I’ll grab.

How bout something longer like a 188? I know it’s a small market but tall skiers appreciate the long skis

I would probably add a longer one before a size between 72 / 82, but that's also a slim chance, at least for next season.
