13256112:JenniferGarner said:How idiotic are you dummies? Your not calling them black. "That man who is black" is calling a man black. "That black guy" or "Blackie" is a direct reference to the color of his skin which shouldn't fucking matter. People claim they're not racist but there's a shit ton of underlying racism going on in this thread. Talk about how poverty and segregation ghettos resulting from the previous times is affecting a group of people. People who are stuck in a community with only other people who are starting from nothing. No access to good education or healthcare, only to minimum wage, chain-shop jobs. Most don't know about the government assistant programs to allow them a chance at a higher education.
That happens no matter what color skin you are but there just so happens in every major city a large population of minorities that were literally herded into the ghettos through selective real estate laws. Prejudice is still very prevalent and the kids who bring up stats about which person of which color skin commits more crime against other blah blah bullshit, read up on the stats about who earns more on average and how much more likely a person with white skin will get a job over a person with black skin.
Fucking shameful.
13255812:k-rob said:you know full well that if the police were killing people they wouldn't just say so, but at least 2 witnesses have been found dead since November, one shot and burned in his car, Deandre Joshua, and one found dead in a channel named Shawn Gray (manner and cause of death pending autopsy).
who's instigating who is entirely up to personal opinion at this point, but seeing as how the cops showed up to peaceful protests wearing riot gear and firing weapons, i'm going with them. also they aren't the ones cleaning up the day after, the citizens are. there is never a good reason to be racist or brutal, especially if you're an armed and trained police officer, so idk how that came out of your head, especially since you already said racist cops aren't a problem.
13256259:XtRemE11 said:calling someone black is racist now? wtf? if its a white guy in a crowd of black people is it racist to call him white? its the one major physical differentiator between a white and black person, it just makes sense to use that to describe someone.
I dont even know what kind of weak minded shit would have to go through your head to reach the conclusion that calling someone white or black is offensive. crazy how people try so fucking hard to seek out any little thing to get offended about.
i wont even touch the other shit you posted, ill get all the super liberal college kids of NS calling me a racist for thinking minorities have the capability of being responsible for themselves and their actions and should be expected to be.

I don't remember anyone in this thread calling anyone blackie either. Saying "that man who is black" (which you just claimed is not racist) is no different than "that black man" (which you claim is racist). You're just nitpicking bullshit.
Now krob, I do agree that the lack of indictment for the Garner case is a head scratcher. Letting it go to trial should have been the obvious choice.
13256857:JenniferGarner said:People with black skin are 340% more likely to be pulled over than crackers. Fact.
13256375:JenniferGarner said:You're a fucking moron if you deduced that from what I wrote... strange you not only got the wrong point out of what I wrote but you also go on to claim that I'm specifically pointing to you as being racist. No one gives a shit if you describe a person as being black for some stupid reason but when you start referring to someone only based on their skin color, yeah that's the very definition of being racist.
13256857:JenniferGarner said:Well yeah, she's a fucking racist too. Just because she's black doesn't mean she can't be racist. I think you would have figured this out by now. If you think the color of someone's skin actually means something, then you're a racist. Its as simple as that. People with black skin are 340% more likely to be pulled over than crackers. Fact.

13258059:JenniferGarner said:That's not the same as simply describing someone based on their skin color as a reference, you dense piece of racist trash. I'm pretty sure if you weren't a selective reader (or knew how to read at all), you would have seen me clarify that already. "That person who is black" and "that black guy" are two completely different statements but only the uneducated and ignorant will think they're the same thing.
13258127:XtRemE11 said:Ok I get what your saying. I still don't see how you're getting racism out of it. You have to assume so much about the individual saying it to reach that conclusion. There is no way "black people" or "black guy" is implying that blacks or an individual is inferior because of race.
you just like most easily offended PC people like to seek ways to twist little things like this into a racist issue. Maybe it's because you're bored, or need to feel above people by creating an issue so you can label others. I don't know. But I really would like to know how you function in the real world with such weak emotions. Do you just hate anybody with an opinion? I feel like people like this only exist on the Internet. Or just hide it so they can operate outside of their comfortable sensitive bubble.
13258211:Scaredwhiteboy said:The actual defintion of racism is so much narrower than it is used. However in modern society, calling somebody racist is basically a trump card in any argument so people have been conditioned to make racism accusations at the first hint of anything racial.

My initial reaction was, "giant dude, resisting arrest, cop responds as he was trained to, dude unfortunately dies because of health problems, case closed". But after getting some more info, and watching the thing closely, with the sound ("I can't breathe" is just chilling) it's pretty clear that they... killed the guy. For no reason. And I think any reasonable person of any race who HAS taken the time to look at the facts there probably agrees.
The Michael Brown thing is a bit more nuanced, in that if you read Wilson's grand jury testimony, it's compelling and more or less makes sense. The grand jury was - and this is unusual - presented with absolutely every piece of physical evidence that was available. If, after looking at that evidence, and then listening to Wilson, they thought "I believe that this guy is telling the truth", then they made the right decision by not indicting him. I know many people are inclined, based either on pre-existing biases or anger or a dozen other things, to disbelieve him on basic principle. But until I'm given some reason to think otherwise, I'm inclined to trust that the people who heard from the officer first-hand at least came to their decision honestly, and didn't think "this guy might be lying through his teeth here, hard to say, but let's just let him off the hook anyway".

1) “I never touched him” Michael Brown’s blood was found on his gun, on his shirt collar, and on his own pants
2) “After the incident I called for help” His body was laying in the middle of the street for four and a half hours
3) “I didn’t go for my mace because I didn’t know if it would even work on him” …What the fuck
4) “He handed me the cigarillos and said ‘Here, take this’ at which point I grabbed his wrist to control him somehow” OH OK
5) “I didn’t carry a taser so that was out of the question” “Why not” “Because we only have one available in the entire police department” UM

yeah the Ferguson PD are real straight shooters when it comes to unarmed citizens. and newschoolers has a fucking clue. there were zero homicides all year in Ferguson until Mike Brown, and they turned it into a police state. this is why black people hate cops.
