Just saw AVATAR.... Hoooooly balls...

Incredible visuals. It was absolutely stunning. I saw it toasted as planned and saw it in 3d. It was incredible.

I think some of the acting was overdone, and it was a little cliché, but overall I liked it.

i just have felt the need to say this but have yet to say it to anyone, i still think the dark knight stands out as a better movie in my mind for recent films. i guess the wow factor hit me harder with dark knight was all.

by far the best movie i have ever seen. the scenery, the backgrounds and landscapes were beautifully done in every way possible. the rainforest, especially at night looked like it was alive. this movie will really change the movie industry forever.

most amazing thing i've ever seen, at the end of the movie i just sat in my seat speachless at how fucking incredible the movie was

Not even just similar, it was the exact same thing. But I was to busy trying to conceal my growing erection as a result of the visuals to even give a single shit.

it was a really good movie, i dont see why people say its the best movie they have ever seen, its up there, but not the best. id definatly say one of the best of the decade tho. if it wasnt for The Road id say best of the year.

i saw it in 3D and i didnt like the 3D part much, looking through the glasses just got annoying and i felt like they made everything look a little wierd. i may see it in 2D again and see what i think.

in terms of visuals it was amazing, but for such a huge budget i think it could have been much better, if they used less CGI or atleast did a little better job with it i think it could have been better.

i was glad it wasnt just another million things going on at once all the time with crazy shots CGI fest. they actually did a good job of making it somewhat easy to watch.

i thought the story was good, it was basically dances with wolves, which is a great story. and i though they did a real good job making the avatar's different enough to make it a kinda fantasy land, but similar enough to humans that its something we can relate to and somewhat realistic.

I saw it with a 100% open mind. While its definitely good, and the visuals are on a different level....I really don't see why people think it's the best movie of the decade. Not even close really. For a badass blockbuster CGI movie it was very good....but the best? Cmon...nah.

idk i just feel like it was a complete, good movie. I cant really think of any flaw in it. Good plot, idea, visuals, just everything was really good IMO

Didn't think there was too much cheese at all.

I went into it knowing it was going to be visually spectacular but I knew JC would have to deliver a movie with a decent plot for it to be a complete success.

While the plot was pretty simplistic, it was VERY well done. There were no plot holes and the dialogue was perfect and surprisingly uncheesy. There is nothing that takes me out of a movie more then plot holes (dark night) and cheesy dialogue (gi joe). Avatar had neither. That, combined with the fact that the cgi was sooo amazingly real really let you fall into the world and relate to the characters. It was one of the only movies where I actually felt for the characters.

Soooo well done overall.

even though the plot was very predictable, the 3d and the graphics of the planet just had me captured and I felt more a part of the movie and less like watching a movie than any movie I have ever seen ever.

I think it is the best movie I have ever seen based on the fact that instead of watching a movie; i was on the planet pandora for 160 minutes. once I was captivated by the visuals, dialogue was not a concern; I was just along for the ride.

Best movie ever.

You need to broaden your taste in movies if you consider this the best movie you've ever seen.

use your brain. those cockpit windows were regular glass and no different from cockpit windows we have today. the arrows that the navi shot were not only 3/4" diameter, but they were like 6-7 feet long. the navi are 9-10 feet tall with incredibly long limbs. this means when they draw an arrow, along with their greater than human strength, the arrow will have ridiculous potential energy. their bow draw must be way harder to draw than ours, AND they draw their arrows back much farther. added to the ikrans flying downward at a 45 degree angle perpendicular to a thin piece of glass, these ridiculously high energy arrows would have no problem piercing the glass. the arrows retain much more energy than a .50 calibur bullet. use your head and get educated

merry christmas though

so sick .. great movie ... the part were he had to ride that hudge Ikran was sick he was like " the biggest bird in the sky had no fears so y would he ever look up" was the sickest line
