Just saw AVATAR.... Hoooooly balls...

Who cares about the plot. I mean it had a pretty good message too it. But I was there for the scenery. Even though it was predictable I still think it was solid. In my state I didn't really enjoy the war type parts too much.

hey need to make a sequel called avatar, "no plot, just chillin in the woods with mother tree" I'd pay 30 bucks for a few hours of that. That neon shit blew my mind. Hopefully I didn't scare anyone else in the theater. I'm sure I reached out for some of that stuff in a few points. Was pretty crazy because I went solo to a sold out Imax show on a sat night. Still had an awesome time, Once it got going I didn't notice anyone around me. I was completely there. I drank some too and had to piss mid way through. I tried to hold it, not wanting to crawl across people then walk all the way down and out. Finally went for it in one of the none neon woods parts. When I came back in it was kind of scary. A shitload of people with neon glasses staring at me as I walked up the stairs and tried not to do anything stupid.

Probably the coolest movie I've ever seen, and I'm def going back to see it again once or twice.

normally, i get really antsy and cant sit through movies.

but avatar was amazingggg, i was so drawn into the movie that i didn't want it to end.

i'm a definite fan.

My housemate and I have cancelled our flights to Revelstoke for reading week, and are in the process of booking two tickets to Pandora... shit's pricy though

Im smoking crack because I think a movie should have a plot more interesting, well thought out, and less predictable than most disney movies.... okay.

Good graphics does not a good movie make.

Then it's not for you. This was a pretty breakthrough movie as far graphics. The most amazing 3d to this point. In the Imax it took you to another world.

And if your knocking this because of the plot. 9 out of 10 movies that come out these days or close to it have god awful plots.

Had a decent enough message to it although that's not why I was there. the being a pawn in a war part, not the pocahantas story.

9/10 movies that come out these days suck ass lol.

The graphics were indeed amazing, and probably the best graphic display out of any movie i've ever seen.

I just don't think this movie should be touted as "the greatest movie ever" when no real thought was put into it, so much as money was thrown at it to make it look nice.

Pawn in a war/stereotyped marines kind of seemed half ass to me. None of the characters were really interesting.... there was no real character development unless you count Sulley, which was extremely predictable and cliche.
