Just saw AVATAR.... Hoooooly balls...

seriously, this movie is the shit. I'm gonna have to go see it again in 3D when I get home.

it was FUCKING AWESOME
i left the theatre freaking out and yelling, with like 13 other people, and we were all jizzing everywhere, no amount of tissues could clean what we produced

damn, I may have to see this... I was skeptical, but the reviews are unbelievable.
IS THE PLOT GOOD? I don't care about the CGI shit that much, I want a good movie with a story.

real good. communicates a lot how i feel about the world, im pretty hippy though so it may depend on personal opinion.

ya, i just got back from it.. Normally i sit in the movie with my friends and talk to them and make fun of the bad and stupid parts.. but no, for three hours of my night, I was lost in a mystical place of my own known as Pandora.. it was ridiculously realistic

avatar was amazing. the visuals were incredible and james cameron created a whole new world you become submerged in. it is a long movie but i did not lose interest at any part. the 3d is not overwhelming like theyre making everything pop right out at you, its just the right amount to add depth to the movie. again the visuals are stunning, its definitely a must see.

Ill be honest the trailer and the commercials didnt really interest me at all. But after reading all of these posts, I am going to see it tonight.

i have to admit i hated it. why would you ever spend 300 million on that storyline and not get decent actors

the actors were fine. better than having too many well known actors. it like seeing a good movie with people that aren't that familiar to me.

but..

Anyone else think there was a little too much cheese poured on in some spots???

also, they have all this crazy technology and can travel 9 years through space but they can't heal a bullet wound? give me a break. and the cockpit windows weren't even bullet proof. they fuckin shot arrows through that!! seriously??

I saw it last night in 2d and i was stunned. Plot was good and the visuals were mind bottling, yes mind bottling. I wanna fucking live in Pandora, it was absolutely beautiful. Plus the Na'vi are badass.
I will probably go spend the extra cash and go see it in 3D.

not trying to claim, but I saw this movie in Imax on shrooms. If you have ever taken shrooms I highly suggest to you that you do this. Most amazing thing i have ever done

I saw it in 3d. It was amazing. Like the previous posters have stated, its not in your face 3d, but just helps add depth to the feel. The opening scene....had me just like d*mn! I have never seen a movie twice in theaters before, but I am definitely seeing this again. The story you have seen before, its like dances with wolves, last samurai, but you have never seen it presented this way.

im making my friends go see this. i wanna see it bad after readin this thread, the commercials look weird but damn!

Just fucking awesome... I'm going to see it again sometime this week.

I saw it in 3D it was fucking amazing. I wish i had seen it in 3D when i was high it would have made it that much better

anybody else see the alice in wonderland preview i was talking about? i wanna know if it was as rediculous for someone who was sober

i fucking love this movie.

i didn't want it to end ever, i thought i was ON pandora during the whole thing, holy shit

just got back from the movie, WOW, i cant wait till i can see it in the Imax. that movie was a giant metaphor anyone else agree?

yeah i thought the same thing. Humans have all that technology, to make an avatar, but are still using bullets and modern guns? And why wouldnt those huge robot things have bullet proof cockpits either? And was it just me or was that a 2 hr 40 min metaphor to what happened in africa for diamonds? But overall the movie was mind-bottling.

Its been already said BUT IF YOU WANT PLOT OR GOOD ACTING go see some indie film.

If you want to have your jaw drop by some out of control visuals, and the most revolutionary Sci Fi movie since the original Star Wars then you'll leave very very satisfied.

I'm seeing it again asap

This movie is just unreal, two days after seeing it I can stop thinking about it and how cool it is. Makes me feel depressed about how much earth sucks even though I know its fake. I need to see it again in Imax 3D ASAP

this was absolutly the best movie ive ever seen. not only my new favorite but probably one of the greatest cinematic experiences ever. you should see it once ^ not under the influence then go again totally tripped out haHA. i plan o seeing it at least 3 more times it waS So good
