It's funny because it was warranted. You made a poor generalization without any implication of it being a "joke" and then followed with "yeah I said it". Sounds to me like you are indeed one with a sense of elitist entitlement. From your statement which was obviously a "joke"...but not really, it sounds like you are a partisan of elitism and therefore should not be taken seriously when it comes to these threads. By all means you can say that there are more black/hispanic recipients of welfare on average than white. That is a fact nobody can deny. However, you stop your train of thinking there and turn to feelings of superiority over these people. This type of attitude and lack of thinking only furthers the disdain between races. So if you are mad, or upset because there are more black people on welfare, then why not try to understand the real reason of why there is a dependency problem. If you do a bit of research and thinking on the issue you will begin to see the larger picture. Of course it takes some work, but it's better than taking the easy/ignorant way out and assuming all these people are lazy. Go ahead, give it a try.
