The weather is awesome here... as long as some rain doesn't bother you, the summer is not too hot, the winter isn't super cold like the Icecoast, and spring skiing goes pretty late up at Whistler.
The people can be really varied. When I meet people from Montreal or somewhere in the states, they say that have very mixed encounters with Vancouverites. Apparently we come off as "snobby" and are sometimes reffered to as "Toronto West" haha which happens to really bother me, so I try to be as friendly as possible when seeing people who look lost on the street. Needless to say you meet some very interesting Characters.
I still remember this one time, when i was about 16-17, me and a couple friends were trying to get a boot at the liquor store, and we met 2 guys from Arizona. They were nice enough to buy us some booze, when they came back, they asked us if we knew where they could find a "Gentlemen's Club" for the night. I was surprised to say the least.
