Hummer H3T

You just said diesel trucks are gay? I big diesel truck is the farthest from gay. And a unimog would take large, sloppy shits all over any hummer made

until it came to an off camber section... wide + low center of gravity is pretty ideal...

unimogs are another dream vehicle of mine... but really all that makes them special in my eyes is the portal axles... which you could potentially toss under any vehicle.

yes i sure did. 99% of them are. because 99% of them are driven by people who are compensating, doing it for for looks, or never see any dirt. the other 1% that use them for towing and hauling stuff around are ok. but really, me and my friend haul more stuff in his 4cyl 20 year old tiny toyota truck, than most people in an f250 will ever haul.
and yeah unimogs are sick, but i wouldnt wanna haul ass in one. hummers however do pretty damn well at high speeds and taking high speed corners.

Yep cuz you've seen their cocks and have a gps tracking device on every diesel truck in the world. Where are you getting these percentiles from?

its well known scientific data. you wouldnt have access to it cause your not me.
but srsly. its a very rare occasion that i see someone in a big diesel truck that isnt a huge tool. atleast around here.
im guessing you drive one???

Just because you see trucks in town without shit in the bed or a big trailer attached to it doesn't mean that people don't haul or tow with that truck. Plus, what's wrong with an F250/350 never seeing dirt? They don't really seem like offroad machines to me anyway. Hauling doesn't require a truck to "get dirty" and don't be so quick to jump to conclusions about the drivers of those vehicles.

when you see trucks being used, its usually something older, not the size of a fucking school bus. and not extremely clean without a scratch on it. i know a lot of truck owners, and the only ones who actually use them own something cheaper and beat up. its the guys with brand new lifted f250s that dont put anything bigger than a mountain bike in it. cause they buy it for image.

Or they buy it because they enjoy trucks and that's their hobby. Why do people by lambos and ferraris? Because they enjoy cars and have the money to do so. Maybe 1% may do it for image, your percents are flipped

meh id say most people buy lambo's and ferraris because of image. its the people in miata's that buy them for fun.

Your possibly the most retarded, ignorant idiot I have ever argued with. People buy Miatas because they can't afford anything better, which usually consists of fat middle aged ladies who are trying to be young and hip. And people buy ferraris and similar exotic cars because thats most likely a hobby of theirs. Please explain to me why someone would dish out 250 grand just for image, maybe 1% of exotic car owners may but the other 99% do because they like cars and probably collect them.

damn dude, you're 100% wrong every time you try to argue. Miata's are like the #1 weekend racer mobile. ANd explain to you why people would dish out tons of money for image????? are you serious... god damn. keep posting you ignorant bastard.

Should I start a Prius and rainbow cult for you and extreme11? I'd be happy to do it, then you can be ignorant idiots in a more private setting.

yea, your right that you have to like cars to spend 250 grand on a car. but id say less than half do much more than take the occasional neighborhood turn quickly or accelerate fast from a stop light. sure they might like ferarris, know alot about them, and are a car enthusiast, but that doesnt mean they arent buying those cars to look cool. id say your average miata enthusuats is much more into the actual driving part of owning a car than your average lambo enthusiast, cause they sure as shit arent doing it for image..

Doubtful, a friend of my grandpas had 4 ferraris and 2 lamborghinis and he would take one to a track almost every weekend. And of course you would drive a mists more than a lambo or Ferrari, lambos arnt exactly a top candidate for a daily driver. And you could argue that anyone owns any car just for image

thats great, im not saying that there are plenty of lambo/ferrari owners out there that drive the shit out of their cars, (personally id rather spend 10-20 k on some spec miata or junior formula car but i dont know what its like to be a millionare so i cant argue)
but being around cars and racing most of my life, your average exotic car owner, owns their car to own a cool car, and probably never see redline. its usually the muscle car, miata, old british sports car, and corvette guys that own their cars to use them. unless they are a muscle car, british sports car, etc.. collector.i just dont see the point in owning a car unless your gonna use it and use it alot.

^^

this is very true

but on topic, my mudding vehicle of choice would be mine. a 93 4runner beat to shit but goes anywhere the wheels point.

i dont get your logic? whats wrong with spending 30gs on any vehicle? its not that much. kind of a stupid thing to say

He's saying you can get a much better car for under 30 grand, which I 100% agree with. Hummers are pretty much the most impractical vehicles

True, but for the price of one new you could have got a custom built beast that could wreck it. What were they $120 grand orbsometying like that? Theres a vid on YouTube of an h1 going completely underwater for over 10 seconds or so and driving down a river. That's badass, none of this driving through 2 inch puddle in my soccer dad wannabe pickup truck shit

yea not saying they were at all affordable or reasonable in any way for the ridiculous price but damn those things did work. if the water hits my intake my runner does not become happy with me

Do you have a snorkel? If not, it's kind of self explanatory why it doesn't like you...and you can hydrolock your engine if you get enough water in there

i guess that did sound a little dumb. i try to stay away from water over my tires and its very self explanatory what happens..what i do not have is the several hundred dollars for a snorkel. but someday it will happen, after i get a locker

What year 4runner? Does it have it's or is it the straight axle? I have a limited slip right now on my 86 pickup but I'm converting it to the straight axle with a locker soon

ZOMG i can buy a nissan titan with a diesel motor? or a toyota truck?

Are you fucking retarded, if it runs on diesel it doesnt even get gas mileage, trololz.

The h1 i test drove for work alot got 8mpg dumbass. None of that pussy 12mpg shit. And i know for a fact that motherfucker didnt have any v8 in it, try 6.6L turbo duramax, motherfucker.

93. i think it has ifs, im trying to learn a little about my rig but im not as car oriented as id like to be so im just learning still. i think ifs is stock on the second gen 4runners

85 on is ifs unless the person you bought it from converted it to a straight axle. Ifs is a torsion bar system versus the offroaders preferred straight axle and Leaf spring set up. If you have Leaf springs all around, you have a straight axle bland if you only have them in the rear you've got the ifs system

but you can throw a locker on an ifs rig all the same pretty much right? im looking about getting an aussie cuz i dont really wanna rig up any air or electric line

Or if it's just a trail truck and not your daily driver you could do a permanent locker by welding the spider gears in the front diff

na id rather not do that. how much is that straight axle conversion gonna charge you? and what are the pros/cons compared to the ifs system

my dad has a 99 cummins ram, its clean as all hell and he babies it, its lifted and rolls on 35s with nice chrome wheels.

he also runs the shit out of er towing and doing work for his construction company/

i drive a 40 year old rust bucket of a truck and the biggest load its hauled has been some wood and a fridge...

pros, solid axles are stronger simpler and can be built for better articulation

i cant think of any cons

if you can do the fab work yourself it costs as much as an axle, leafs and spring hangers, so whatever you get them for is your cost pretty much
