i dont know the specific name but to my knowledge every one is ussing hoodie materialhahago to your fabric store and say " hey homes, i wanna make a dank hoody what material should a snag"then then nice old lady will point you in the right direction!

2 Questions: How much does this sweatshirt fabric cost roughly? Is there a different fabric to use for cuffs and collars? Like a ribbed kinda thing?

proly run you arond fiftyand yeah its called ribbing and the hood is hard to explain but really simple i just looked at a pre existing hoody and winged it and it turned out great

I'm working on one sort of like the light blue one it is black and red i'll post when done. I only need to put on one of the sleeves then i will b done.

haha it doesn't have to be the exact fabric. go to a store go around and try out different fabrics and choose the one that you like best

hi Brian, sure it's not necessary this composition. but i have a nice sweet and i like his composition. but i'm looking after something like 70%--80% coton.

i don't want it in wool :D

hahaha 70-80 would be nice its really soft and warm but there's one problem and that is that it gets absolutely soaked cause its cotton lol

i want to make a tie dye one. would be sick. too bad i don't have a sewing machine at my summer house

This thread is pretty inspirational. I'm guessing when I first make one, everyone over here in Australia will diss the shit out of me, until they realise how dope tall hoodies are, and will want one for themselves.
Thanks for all the examples...i'll definitely be rocking one this Winter.

yupppp that's how it was for me everyone was like wtf u sew??? that's so gay then when they saw it they were all asking me to teach them hahah

Anyone have the fabric name or an online site

Shits expensive in Canada.

Is it Cotton Jersey Knit?

And how much do you need for what ( front back arms hood)

Thanks boys!

This is real dope, and looks like such a nice fit on you.

You should make and sell hoodies on here. I'd pay like $50 for a hoodie like that.
