Game of Thrones

But I think that will be season 4. Season 3 is the first half of A Storm of Swords. This event happened about 2/3 - 3/4 of the way through.

Also, to anyone that read the book, I kind of want to skip season 3 and go right to 4...only scene I really want to see is the one with The Mother of Dragons. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about, don't want to spoil for non-readers.

dem Tyrells.

About a month ago I decided to start reading the books. I'm now halfway through ASOS and it's definitely taking a toll on my school work lol, but it's so good.

adding this to ma threads. this show is the best goddamn tv show i've ever seen, super pumped for it to start back up again

dude, the books are freaking awesome! i sat down and read all 5 of them back to back in no time flat. now i'm pissed off that the 6th book is still probably 2 years out....homeboy needs to step up his fuckin' game!

Dude fu he's put out so much gold for your greedy ass. Cut the guy some damn slack. maybe he's taking so long so he can write another gem

Ya man the books are awesome. I fucking rage every time I get to a chapter narrated by Catelyn though, the whole fucking time it's always "boo I'm sad, Ned is dead, my daughters are gone, Robb is mad at me, Edmure is mad at me, my father's dead, I'm so depressed, boo hooo." Like ok we get it, give it a rest will you

Here is the episode list for the season. I cant wait for the rains of castamere episode.

“Valar Dohaeris” (pairing nicely with last season’s finale)

“Dark Wings, Dark Words”

“Walk of Punishment”

“And Now His Watch is Ended”

“Kissed by Fire”

Still untitled

“The Bear and the Maiden Fair”

Still untitled

“The Rains of Castamere”

“Mhysa”

[/list]

what i don't get is how everyone who read the books complains all season long that the show changed stuff, then before the next season starts, they act as though reading the book has given them mystical future-seeing powers.

2x the opportunity to act superior.

Or maybe when watching it all they focus on is what's different, and then once they look back on the season they realize it was done far better than they gave them credit.

Really? The majority of my friends who watch and have read seem to love the series. They really didn't change much the first season, 2nd season was changed a bit but shit just gets too complicated for a 10hr season.

The point I was trying to get across was that most of the people I know who watch and read don't complain about it being that different, but whatever.
