Gaining weight?

So, lately, a lot of people have been telling me to gain weight. Even my own mother. Naturally, I like being small and petite, but I do see the...plus side to being at a..."healthier" weight. I've always been underweight my entire life so I think being on the other end would be a somewhat good change.

My question to NS is, what would be a good way to gain weight? I do try to eat a lot, but it just passes on through (if you catch my meaning). and...other than that I'm at a loss.

Right now,

I'm 5 foot 4 and I weigh in at 105 lbs when I should be, I think around 120 lbs?

any help would be appreciated =)

well she just said that wasnt working out that great..

i would recomend working out and eating more protein and shit like that so you can get more muscle weight.

We have no right to assume, what you look like or how thin you are. If you want an honest answer at least post a picture of yourself or this thread is useless.

what this guy said ^ don't just eat more.... eat right. if you just eat a bunch of trans fats and shit you will gain weight but not in the way you want to.
go to your local vitamin store or gnu and get some protein powder, usually chocolate is the best flavor. make delicious shakes or whatever but also exercise accordingly to balance out what you are taking in.
you have to exercise or you will only get chubby.
find a meal plan online that suits your lifestyle and is healthy and try following it.

I'm 5'8" 140 and im like a tad muscular but still small dude what the fuck do you look like? Slender man? Go eat a double double baybee

i dont think you have to really gain any weight. But if you want to then eat more protein and make sure you work out so you gain muscle weight not fat

This is more of a ladies men forum thing. It's an attention whore thing when it's in NSG but its funny cause, no one really cares either way.

i can never put on weight either. im 6ft and 150lbs, not super skinny but my BMI is still barely above unhealthy. i eat like 5 meals a day and never gain any weight, i dunno.

try eating little to nothing because then your body will produce fat because it will think you're dying.

lmfao, and it will help your body in the long term...if your skinny as fuck now, when your 80 your not really going to look too great

120 pounds and being 5 foot 4 is fat in my opinion. my sister is 5 foot 7 and 120 and she is trying to lose weight. 104 is fine.

judging by the pictures in your profile, you probably could put on weight if you wanted to, but dont need to.calculate your BMI. 21 is perfect,

So, ratery, a rot of peopre have been terring me to gain weight. Even my own mother. Naturarry, I rike being smar and petite, but I do see the...prus side to being at a..."hearthier" weight. I've arways been underweight my entire rife so I think being on the other end would be a somewhat good change.

My question to NS is, what would be a good way to gain weight? I do try to eat a rot, but it just passes on through (if you catch my meaning). and...other than that I'm at a ross.

Workout 2-4 times a week and drink a protein shake once a day. Eat a well-balanced diet. Avoid any sweet foods, most dairy, and low-fat foods. Drink 16 oz of water with every meal. I'm trying to gain weight, too and this is what I do:

Workout 4 days a week at this place with James Harrison and a bunch of other professional athletes

Before workout-drink 24 grams of protein

During-xtend by scivation. It's basically a muscle builder

After-drink 72 grams of protein and eat a cup of pineapple

For breakfast-2 eggs and 2 egg whites or 6oz of bacon with green vegetables and 4 pieces of toast(wheat) + 16oz. of water

For Lunch-turkey sandwich on wheat with dry roasted nuts, spinach salad, sugar free jello, protein bar

For dinner-steak, chicken, or fish with spinach salad, rice, corn, and any green vegetables

Remember, muscle weighs more than fat, and even though you are a girl, it is possible to look attractively muscular. This diet helps me gain wieght, but it is also extremely well-balanced with pretty much every vitamin/mineral that a person needs. Even people who are not looking to gain weight should eat in a similar fashion. Also, sometimes it is just genetically hard for a person to gain weight. Everyone is different, and if this does not work for you, I guess you should just always be comfortable the way you are.
