Personally was kind of wanting him to go Indycar or go real off the walls and go to nascar.

I'm curious what the red bull play is gonna be. Perez replacement if he underperforms next season?

Will Buxton interviews truly do ramp up the drama of everything.

So many times I’m like “I don’t remember it being like that??”

DTS is lame as hell and overdramatizes every aspect formula 1

Should be really interesting to see what Mick can do in a car that is actually competitive when he gets the chance

If he gets the chance.

Anyone else think Williams is about to fold? Talks of their main sponsor unsatisfied with results (obviously), Jost and technical director leaving same day. Legacy team being the running joke in the pits sucks to see.

every manufacturer will have low points, williams just happens to be doing really awful. they were 5th in the constructors in 2017.

Won't really know until the first few races IMO. Depends if Ferrari can get their shit together and if Mercedes makes some changes.

Yeah, everyone semi-sandbagging right now anyway.

alpines gotta be sandbagging hard, it’s also super interesting how well AM is keeping up with the big guys.

Yea my thoughts exactly. Won't be until the first couple of races and even then the teams are still figuring things out. Last year it was Redbull and Ferrari duking it out the first 5 races or more. Then Redbull pulled away easily.

Did I hear there is finally an American driver?

Anyway Team Haas, I'm ready to be hurt again.

Haas livery looks so good this year, big improvement there.

and this is coming from a die hard mclaren fan.[/quote]

Hope McLaren can step up.. If they do not improve from last year I expect Lando to start looking for another seat..

Both are looking clean this year. Other than Russel's hydraulic mishap this morning.

Watched a bit of the testing. My god it's boring unless your a technical nerd. Still so nice to see the cars under the lights though

Lots of hype around it for sure. Alonso is putting in work he is on one this year. Im really excited to see that car perform under his skill. The guy is an absolute weapon he's so competitive and still very hungry.

Money is everything. Once their wind tunnel is up and running I really think Aston Martin will be a top contender. Well, best of the rest as they say.

I’m honestly shocked we haven’t lost lando already, but he’s holding onto hope that the new regs will up their game come 25

Did he not sign a 3 year deal? Kids locked in as they come. Imagine this early season skepticism they are preaching is just a bunch of BS and he sandbags the whole lineup. Maybe yesterday's time was representative

Hes signed though 25. When the new regs drop

Alonso is a good driver but his shit taking always makes him fall out with the team inevitably. Then they put less effort in to him.

He indeed has a longterm contract, but I am sure he can out of it if the results are not there.

McLaren really is not sandbagging atm. They have several problems now during testing and they admitted they have delayed updates coming after the first few races.

The main reason I watch DTS is for Guenther. Him ripping on the jet ski while his daughter was terrified was the highlight for sure

Whoever downvoted this is obviously a new fan and has an unrealistic opinion of Fernando. Love to have a chat about it if they want to be learned

This new season is Guenther heavy. Love it. I'm actually enjoying it quite a bit. Last season was the first season I watched everything, kept up to date on all the news, followed the accounts. So to see it playing out and with the day after interviews from drivers and managers. So happy.

New season is
