For those of you that still aren't convinced that Bobby Brown has style

Bobby is a dope skier, first and for most. I respect him and love watching him ski. That said, he doesn't have much style and this edit is perfect proof of it. He has enough style to the point that tricks don't look sloppy but in that video he doesn't grab much or really do anything with that much style.

Forget 1:17 the whole edit is so steezy. Although 1:03 is particularly stylish as well. If he wore XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL clothing people would think he is as steezy as the rest.

i think if he skied more fluidly and landed with less effect on the rest of his body i would think he was more steezy

What's the difference between the two? I always considered Tom Wallisch the model of style because he throws smooth tricks followed by stylish, clean landings. Now I'm not saying Bobby Brown is as stylish as Tom Wallisch, but what makes them so different?

Bobby has the best double cork 10 mute in the business, hands down. So slow and slow smooth, so to say he doesn't have style seems weird to me. And just wait until you see him in the next PBP movie. You're going to be blown away.

Nope, I don't see the style. He's super clean and controlled, that's for sure, but those nosetaps over the rainbow are about as stylish as he got.

yeah like the way wallisch skis is so perfect (see 4bi9 bonus edit) that it makes bobby look a tiny bit forced. i'm not sure how to say it. that said, bobby absolutely slays, and i'm so bad compared to him i shouldn't judge.

does bobby have style yes, but who doesnt?

his style is more textbook and often really isnt refered to as a style...

when most people think of style they think of wallisch, casabon, etc people who put their own spin on tricks

i think there were two tricks that weren't grabbed in that entire edit, a cork 3 and a shifty one
im a fan of his style, its just not forced

i don't know about you but that filming style was way more stylely then bobby brown's style. It made it feel like you actually there skiing long with him

bobby is so dope, he's got game but a majority think that someone needs to slip him a xxxl tee

reeeeeaally. fuck bobby brown. hes just another stupid xgames, robot style, double throwing carbon copy.

i dont know how someone could say he doesnt have style. style is how you move your body and how it flows with tricks, not what you wear, what companies you have segments with, or who you ride for. Everyone has their own style, and that's what makes skiing fun to watch for me. bobby doesnt ski like henrik or casabon, but he's still smooth as hell, he stomps the shit out of everything and is always in control of his body. look at the switch 7 at 1:50 for example. or the bonks on the rainbow rail, flowy as fuck.

no shit, it's a grab.

anyways, he's a ski jock. not a bad style, just don't prefer it. switch 5 at the end was the illest, but it sucks that it's impossible for him to spin under a 10 on a big jump for most of the time.

haha this thread sums up skiing so much. people think style is one thing. that you either have style or dont. not that there is different styles

i hate the whole term forced. hes hitting a 60 plus foot jump and spinnning around a bunch. of course its forced. your body doesnt do that naturally. just because he doesnt intentionally land backseat and let his head flop to the side doesnt make it forced.

he is rather robotic. but I never saw him as a style type of guy. It's like he's a jock who just happened to want to ski instead of any other sport.

why the fuck does so many people think to have style is to ski like casabon, wallisch, henrik etc etc? They're just different examples of style.

Bobby makes every trick look so damn easy, and to me that's real style.

don't get me wrong, bobby brown is good at skiing skill wise and he's probably going to win a lot of competitions because of it.

but in that edit all i could picture was someone trying to get a high

score in a video game...on skis in real life. very very generic style

and I would have no idea who he was if i saw him on the mountain unless

someone told me that it was bobby brown. style should be unique to the person themselves.

i also don't think bobby brown should try to have his own unique style because he's a competition skier so it all comes down to technique not swagger.

He's 6"2, cut him some slack. I might be ignorant but I can't think of a single skier over 6ft renowned for steeze.
