For those of you that still aren't convinced that Bobby Brown has style

He has so much style. I love watching him ski. He stomps every landing, holds every grab, keeps his body in control. Not robotic in anyway if you ask me.

Also how is he a comp jock? Kid grew up skiing breck and having fun, he wasn't a racer or a mogul skier. He just loves to ski park.

I guess people dont like him cause they know they can never be as good and clean as him.
 
This exactly. I have way more respect for the taller guys. What's wrong with being a technician? That unnatty 3 up was pretty sick. LOL at the bonerstyle comments. FYI - 9 out of 10 females prefer boner style to limp dick style.
 
I only said jock because he's such an athletic person who could've been good at any sport, depending on what he did as a kid. But he ended up a park skier.

and you need to get this idea out of your head that most the people posting don't like him. He may not be super stylish like b-dog or something but we all still love him, I mean he is throwing tricks that we could only do in our dreams

he lands everything perfect in those edits. Looks like he's not even trying. Does he have the most distinct or unique style? no. but is he stylish? ya. He makes that shit look so easy
 
I think his height and the fact that he doesn't wear anything that tall makes it appear that his style is sloppy. He's no phil casabon but i can understand why people like him
 
id say its pretty unique. i can think of very few other skiers who are as precise and calculated as he is. hes bordering on a Jon Olsson level of precision

 
Exactly. His skiing is damn near flawless.
Style is an entirely subjective, personal thing, and in my opinion Bobby has style...that style being effortless and natural. If anything, I respect Bobby more for not putting a ton of energy into posture, hand position, clothing style, etc. If you've spent 5 minutes around the kid, you'd know he fucking LOVES to shred, and he's about as humble and approachable as a kid in his position could be.
I get why a lot of people don't love his style—it honestly isn't that aesthetically unique or distinguishable— or even more so, why people hesitate to get behind him as the "face of freeskiing", but frankly, that's not really Bobby's fault. He's just a kid who loves to ski who also happens to love to push his own limits and to compete. All this bullshit about him "ruining skiing" and "taking it in the wrong direction" is goddamn nonsense...there's enough diversity in the sport that fans of style and creativity over technicality and execution have enough people to look to for cues as to where "to take the sport".
I truly don't understand why Bobby is so fucking controversial...
 
To be honest I think that's border line disgusting, Seriously, he looks like the hunchback of notra dame.
 
Really? I've never really been a fan of his style....
Delorme is pretty tall...6'2"? He, Durtschi and Lame Downer are definitely my favorite tall skiers to watch.
 
Haha I just want bobby brown to come out with an edit where he is wearing XL Saga or some shit, but just not say who the skier is and post it in the video section. I wonder what it would get rated compared to his other shit, and if people would say that he is steezey or not.
 
im not hating on bobby at all but his style just doesnt do it for me, i can watch wallnutz's so far so hood bounus edit all day, because its so fun to watch. bob lands the tricks clean, but doesnt have great/origional style. but u guys gotta cut him some slack, hes 6' 2"

As for bobby, he's ill, his style gets better every year, cant wait to see how hard he's goin in a few years.
 
I find it kind of ironic when people say he has "unoriginal style", when it seems like all the skiers popular with the NS crowd have the same, "gangsta" style. I personally think his style is refreshing.

None of you guys get it, plenty of people have upload a 60p edit, they just get transcoded to 30p or 24p when put online and this flash video source kept it at 60p. It looks horrible IMO but thats coming from someone who likes 24p.

pretty much any pro can have decent style in an edit... only until he proves this "style" on the contest scene will he be average in the style category.... HIGH MUTES 4 LYFE.
 
hes too stiff and when he tries to look stylish you can tell it is like forced. and for people saying give him a break cuz he is tall, thats bullshit because i have a few friends who are 6'2 or 6'3 that have better style (not better skiers obviously). Bobby is a sick skier but i just dont believe his style is that good
 
thanks man, props. i guess i would consider these edits styley cuz everyone here is putting their own spin on tricks, not just trying to be perfect. once again, so subjective.
