13756138:_salty_ said:@ On3p I thank you for your response and the phone call it meant a lot.In the end some one who represents your company sold goods not as described to a highschool kid who can barely afford the sport as it is. If your ok with that then so be it, I obviously can't change any thing.
@ Jake I was on the fence about buying the skis at first but I went through with it because I saw a orange name and saw that you were riding for a standup core company. I put my faith in you, I never meant any of the text to be mean I was just calling it how I saw it from my perspective. Also I want you to know im still up for a compromise on this issue.
@ both: I am sorry about the title if I could go back and change that I would. As you can imagine with the christmas season being here and having a big chunk of change missing from my pockets it really hurt not being able to get stuff I wanted.

And now you feel it is prudent to try and intentionally cost a company sales because you are getting emotional about a mistake you made.
How in gods name is on3p at all responsible for this? Why the fuck did you drag their name through the mud?
You are such an entitled little bitch. Fucking Christ you are dumb too.

Also, OP should thank everything that's good and holy that he didn't make this kind of thread over at TGR. THAT would have been ruthless.
OP - I hope you learned some valuable lessons about buying stuff online, the ski community, gratitude and learning to appreciate when someone hooks you up. It doesn't really seem like it, but hopefully something will stick.
13757168:hemlockjibber8 said:The most important thing that needs to be cleared up here is the misinformation about remounting bindings.
1. It does not feasibly matter if the drilled holes were mounted or not. Holes compromise the ski regardless.
2. _salty_ couldn't use the skis as is because his boots didn't fit. He needed to remount and these existing unmentioned holes could very well be a problem.
3. Just because FKS hole patterns are narrow does not make this less of an issue. Skis break across the middle. Lining up holes side to side makes this plane weaker. The fact that there is limited flex under a binding (if thats where these holes end up) is the only reconciliation.
4. Plugging holes (with glue) right away helps because it prevents moisture coming in and weakening the core.
5. Not listing all the mounts is one of the worst moves to do as a seller. _salty_ received a product that was significantly different than advertised. A refund should have been offered no matter how good the seller thought the deal was.
6. Trying to flip skis for more than you paid on NS, while not advertising the defect that you are so concerned about is the absolute shittiest move to do as a seller. Right or wrong, it makes everyone lose sympathy for you.
13757175:Casey said:Lol yeah I was shaking my head at the, 'I never put screws in the holes' argument they were trying to float. It's not a second mount because I didn't technically mount bindings there and ski them? Nice try.
The fact that he actually went to ON3P to bitch about it and then on here with this ridiculous thread is just straight up hilarious though. You can't make this stuff up.

13755652:Mingg said:Also pretty shady to include ON3P in this. You didn't buy from them and their skis aren't the issue. They don't owe you a damn thing and saying they're a terrible business for not giving your entitled ass anything is lame as fuck.
