Erica Durtschi bringing style to womens skiing?

I have always thought that womans skiing always lacked in style, until I watched Erica Durtschi's new edit. Am i the only one that thinks this.

Good style (for a girl). Something about that edit just reminds me of a teenager who just went through a growth spurt and is now too tall and lanky to be fully coordinated. Maybe she just needs more tall-Ts?

Oh yeah dude her grabs were off the hook, plus that last shot was banger I've never seen anyone stomp a 450 off a jump that big before

Yes and the biggest thing that bugs me about style is having your legs spread when you are doing a trick and when you land. Kaya doesn't do this as much as a lot of women but it is still there.

that was some of the smoothest style ive seen out of a girl, super sick, super mellow, i was diggin it.

shuffles or not, clean straight landings are far more impressive

not that i could hit those jumps and do anything more than straight airs

I dug Erica's edit, but Shanny Cohen's edit was pretty sweet too! SV REPRESENT

i think shes the only girl skier or snowboarder that doesnt look like she is just along for the ride and could eat shit at any given moment.

havn't laughed so hard at something stupid like that in a while.

but its cool to see her skiing a guy(stiff) ski(like chick racers).

Says the one calling kids retards in other threads, real classy.

Erica's edit was nice, she has her own style, which is a lot more than I can say for a lot of other female skiers. And Maude kills it, QC reppin'.

nice one guy. easy pulling things out of context, isnt it? neither of the children i was calling retarded deserve one shred of respect. you can't fix stupid.

Whether they deserved respect or not is irrelevant, as is the context. You're still the one using 'retard' as a derogatory term. It's offensive, uncouth and hardly 'respectful', a quality you seem to hold in high regard.

Where's Ashley Battersby?

She single-handedly brought some actual style to women's skiing a long time ago, is she still skiing?

I think we need to break this negative vibe towards womens skiing, I like women...I wish more were involved in Freestyle...and I think if we all toned it down with negativity, we might see a more women in the sport which will make the sport progress....too much sausage out on the hill
