Jesus, fuck off. Really impressed by all the 9 Queens videos posted on this page, Erica killed it but also Lisa Zimmermans was really good i thought.
 
It's not harmful in an insulting way, it is literally socially regressive. I'm not going to have this conversation here, but if you can't appreciate the social impact of words then you may be the one who needs to 'grow up'

I think the only thing the internet has to do with this is that it's allowing you a way to express your ass-hattery without directly showing your face, which doesn't make it funny or any more OK.

I take issue with what you're doing here only because it serves to drive away a segment of our sport that is actively working very hard to carve out a space for themselves that would allow for the support they deserve. And guess what, while you are out there beating yourself up because you can't ski half as well as any of these chicks, you can bet your ass they aren't doing the same because they aren't quite where the guys are. They're having fun.

Seriously, this. Get the dildos out of your asses. That was a dope edit for sure, but my one gripe about women's skiing in general is that edits almost never as clean as I would expect them to be. I mean I don't expect them to be throwing 450 on 630s out, but I certainly expect them to be able to at least get one shot of a clean, stomped 270 out... It just gives me the impression that they were too lazy to hike the rail a few more times to get the shot. Cause you can't possibly tell me that every single shot there was an intentional shuffle...

hey thanks for that, I was referring to current skiers.. you dont see misty 7's much nowadays, especially from 15 year old girls. I appreciate the irrelevant breakdown of my post in order to prove your superior knowledge.

regardless, great edits from both erica and lisa, and the other one that was posted. I like seeing womens skiing progress. good things.

did you even see the first page of the thread dude?

not taking sides here at all, just not sure why everyone was singling out flying-squirrel for insulting women's skiing when the first page consisted almost entirely of insulting a woman's skiing in a more direct and less humorous way.

and if i were a girl, saw that meme, and realized i did some of those things, i think i would be inclined to learn how to do the tricks better to avoid being made fun of, not quit skiing.
