smooth, yes. comfortable, yes. creative in the air? im not sure i agree there. smooth an comfortable does not mean creative. yes, he is creative while skiing a line, but his tricks are all rather stock. what does he do that no one else does? what tricks did he pioneer? what tricks has he done that made you say "wow thats the first time ive seen that"
thats creativity. when it comes to skiing lines and small to medium drops, yes he is creative, but his tricks are not, which is what my original point was (seems like that was missed). he does stock spins with stock grabs in a lazy/comfortable style. hes not doing anything that hasnt been done. lazy comfortable and smooth spins happened before him. watch Royalty for evidence
his 5s are different and better? different i can accept, but better, thats judgment. whats your criteria for one 5 being better than another? i personally think many people do better 5s than pollard because i like to see someone do a 5 a bunch of different ways instead of slowly corked with a safety grab every time.
