My post was in response to about 10 different people saying 'AWESOME THIS THREAD IS SO TIGHT WE'RE GONNA PUT MSP OUTTA BUISNESS!!!'

As for buisness ethics, I'm pretty sure I was 'keyed into it' a while before you wasted your time falling short on an attempted insult, good one. Yeah I'm the dumbass though, cause I OBVIOUSLY dont have a clue what's going on. Winter was an ass to berman, who called him on it, and yeah if it gets back to winter it'll be through the sponsors, who probably heard about it long before this thread was made. But maybe you're trying to make a difference, good for you, cast your vote, let's see how it plays out. Too bad for you though, cause this 'dumbass' just cancelled out your vote.

OK here's a few thing's. First I don't think level 1 makes the best movies. I have high five, (althought i haven't watch the msg thingy yet)i like but ya know what, i totally hate the soundtrack. I think it sucks ass, I hate that kind of music. But , im not saying its bad cause it helped evole the sport. But i think high five so try to have half n half like other movies. Second. I also have yearbook n i really like it.(althought shanes way too long part) I also like watching seth even though he hardley does any freaking rails. His hges airs n flips are freaking amazing. N E ways all this to say u guys shouldn't say we shouldn't buy msp cause they suck but because there fuckin donkeys!N if they burn like they should which they wont, well i would like to see seth in other films suck as level 1 or n e freakin thing else

What would really hurt MSP is if the riders started boycotting their movies. If CR is refusing to film with them and Seth is shooting with PBP this year then they are on the right track.

Holy shit some of you are dumb. Of course you want to think that you are fuckin rad because you ARE a newschooler and that guys like Seth aren't. Well I'll ask this, what have you park guys done that a snowboarder hasn't done first?? Is that progression? If big mountain isn't progressing the newschool, then why are a lot of park guys like Tanner Hall, Pep Fujas, CR etc. trying to take their shit to the big mountain?? Big mountain is part of the newschool, you can't make an arguement against that. Skiing huge lines switch? landing huge backflips off an 80ft cliff? landing switch cliff drops? I'm sorry, I can only watch a couple railslides and then I am bored, how do you make a whole fucking movie out of that?? I bought MSPs Ski Movie III and it got me totally stoked on Seth, I don't think Focused was as good, and I haven't seen Yearbook... I didn't read all of the pages of posts but it seemed from what I did read that there was this big push to buy the movie so you can see it for yourself...fuck that...I think it's just some ploy to get you to buy the movie. Maybe Winter did say some shit cause he looks like he could be an asshole, but hey, he's making money....the American Dream right?

 
the american dream is happiness and if you say money...you are going to be a very unhappy person. progression is when someone does something new. snowboarders aren't doing new things that act as a check mark for skiers: the sports are different, there medium is just the same. if steve winter is an asshole let him be an asshole. do you think he likes 5500+ people on this sight alone calling him an asshole?, bet not and that should be everyone's satisfaction.

 
ya, so who is progressing really?? Where is the sport heading??? The biggest thing I see right now in the park is like spins onto and off of rails... Like I said, a lot of park guys are taking it to the big mountain, and you've been on mars if you don't know of Seth's contributions to the progression of the newschool. Like I said, I used to like MSP, but I think they've gone downhill, that said, I do like a over generous helping of big mountain in the movies I buy! TGR, Pimpin Frogz, and 'Stimulus' (can't remember the filmmaker of that one) are all good companies/movies too!! (for those that like the big mountain stuff)

Buy what you want to buy, don't let other people influence your decision. I'm sorry to break it to you guys, but the Ski Movie ''industry'' is a business and most successful business practice horrible business ethics. Wal-Mart pays their employees bare minimum and with no benefits. As for Steve Winter, well, that's a pretty messed up thing to do and he shouldn't have done that. So what, Seth isn't filming for MSP this year. Who cares? If I get to see the product of Seth filming, I'm happy.

I love Level 1, Josh is a super nice guy. He sold me my Seth Pistols, I mean, shoot, he gave me a killer guy too! High Five was sick, and was definitely the most enjoyable film I saw this year. I hope he continues to have success. As for MSP, they will probably continue to have success. They appeal to a much broader audience than L1P.

And to that guy who said to link this thread and send it to Helly Hansen, or K2....I SERIOUSLY DOUBT MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS ARE GOING TO CARE ABOUT A WHINY KID AND HIS PROBLEM WITH A SKI MOVIE COMPANY.

This thread is ultimately of little consequence, but to the contrary, flatspinner, K2, Helly, and other 'multinational corporations' are well aware of MSP's practices, and thats why in the end MSP won't be around too much longer. Right Stevie?

 
I would bet that MSP will be around for many years to come. I'm sure that the companies are aware of the ''problem'', but I seriously doubt they care much. Besides, the main sponsors of MSP movies aren't even sponsors of Level 1. So oh well, we'll see what happens. Not like anything we do is going to change everything. If we boycott MSP, they will simply market their movies for a demographic. In the end, they win.
