im pretty sure i actually saw a vid on them blowing it up ( with dynamite) i forget where though, or if it was even chad's but it was a huge as jump that looked alot like chad's...........hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmm
 
You guys are all retarded. They didn't blow up Chad's gap, you can't really blow up a gap, that only really makes it bigger in a sense. They filled it up with RCR's spare parks that they're not using now.
 
blowing up the jump would have been pointless since you could just go in and build another one, ive never been before but they could have gone and blown up the mound where you land
 
they did blow up the jump because TBC crew spent like 5 days making it and it was perfect the gap stil remains and it will probably always be there. is the gona turn into another how do you get to chads from the bottom of alta? maybe

they actually put the whole landing of chads into dump trucks drove it

to altas park and dumped it into a pile and then built an exact replica of

the jump , there is even a emergancy button that you can push if you brake your ankles

a speaker pops outa the landing and spins around with flashing lights saying HIS ANKLES ARE BROKEN over and over again.

and you can buy replica casts signed by tanner hall in the gift shop

Is this serious? Chad's gap is a jump onto a huge pile of mine tailings. The cost and effort of removing the mine tailings or filling in the area between the jump and the landing would be ridiculous. No, they didn't blow up Chad's gap. The jump that Tanner Hall famously broke his ankles jumping off of was destroyed after filming. But you can go build another jump this winter if you like. Somebody will.
 
I live in utah. I was hiking there this summer and they were bulldozing it, thay said too many people got hurt on it, and people were trying to sue alta. Instead of going thorugh all the legal bullshit everytime someone wanted to sue, (because alta has nothing to do with chad's gap,) they just filed a Environmental impact repost with the state and got it approved to be bulldozed.

It's a mine trailings pile so it was easy to argue that it was worthwhile to destroy. (because it was made by humans originally)
 
that would be wortheless to blow up the gap, they just blew the jump up, it shows it in teddy bear crisis at the end im pretty sure.

i hope that was a joke, anyways they were worried about kenny salvini making a comeback and hitting chads from 5 times the run in you need to take and hurting himself again.. it had to be done.
