I live in utah. I was hiking there this summer and they were bulldozing it, thay said too many people got hurt on it, and people were trying to sue alta. Instead of going thorugh all the legal bullshit everytime someone wanted to sue, (because alta has nothing to do with chad's gap,) they just filed a Environmental impact repost with the state and got it approved to be bulldozed.
It's a mine trailings pile so it was easy to argue that it was worthwhile to destroy. (because it was made by humans originally)
