shitty school? newhouse is number 1 in its field... whitman is number 3

their photography is right up there?

tell me again how you are the next president?

Good luck dog hope you get in I am an alum and a lifelong fan since my grandma lived in Cuse. Hopefully same thing happens for you this year that did my senior year in HS (get in and win basketball National Championship!)

Westminster College in Salt Lake. The Tuition is scary to look at, but they hand out scholarships like candy. Literally only 4 kids in my class didnt earn any scholarships their freshman year. I got a 3.35 GPA in highschool, and I'm getting 2/3rds paid for, just as a point of reference

MSU is all SAT's. I had a 2.8 GPA in HS and a 1960 on the SAT's and I'm paying 150% of in state tuition. If you are from a western state you'd get the same thing with a 2120. If you get a 2140 you get a ballin' ass presidential scholarship which is basically everything paid for.

MSU as in Montana State University ??? they accept everyone ahhah. so pretty much 100% soon as you apply you are pretty much accepted

hey im just wondering why are y'all who are applying to Mcgill want to attend there, besides the fact that mcgill is highly ranked you dont really get the college xperience ike you do in the states, the school is under funded and the class sizes are huge, most intro classes are >900 students. also its such a huge university and nobody really lives on campus. i am wondering this because i was accepted as a transfer and i deferred my acceptance till this january and i am thinking about attending only because of how cheap it is, i am from british columbia.

that's not true. I went to a community college to get my AAS and then transferred to MSU, I had to have a 3.2 to get into the school of Business. I'm not saying that's a super high threshhold, but it isn't the lowest, either.

I wouldn't say this is necessarily true. I'm a sophomore here from out of state and am getting aid, and a lot of my friends are too. PIkachu, if you have any questions let me know

The thing is all your friends will be gone at college. I just meet with people in my dorms and everyone that smokes knows one another. Its crazy how bud brings so many people together. Bring bud and you will make friends.

got accepted to fall of 2013 to the only college I applied to, PSU, if anyone is going, hmu! I'm living in Germany at the moment but normally live in the State College, so I know the town well as well!

I'm applying to a stupid amount of schools.

UNC

UChicago

UVa

UPenn

Dartmouth

Cornell

Harvard

Brown

Columbia

Yale

Lehigh University

Muhlenberg College

Carnegie

University of Pittsburgh

Villanova University

I've been accepted at Pitt. I applied Early Action at UNC, UChicago, UVa, and Villanova, so I'll hear from them by January 31.

I'm in at Montana State and University of Wyoming. I'm waiting on University of Colorado, University of Oregon, Colorado State, Boise, and University of Nevada.

still applying, but I narrowed down my list A LOT.

Brown (almost done application)

Vanderbilt (no supplement!)

George Mason (completed application)

Colgate

Cornell

Carnegie Mellon

University of Chicago

maybe University of Pennsylvania

Maybe Princeton University

Maybe Harvard (we know one of the admission interviewers)

also, one of the prompts for Uchicago essay is "so where's waldo, anyway?" Anyone have any ideas for what to write about for this prompt?

While this may help a bit, it is FAR from a sure-thing. Harvard admission interviewers are spread all across the country (and world) and tend to be alums. The one I know only ever interviewed one student, gave him a glowing amazing recommendation, that student's application was very strong...and still no admission for the student. Here's a hint for your Harvard app: Be from some country that no one has ever heard of such as Nauru or Turkmenistan.

so far got into Montanna State, University of Idaho and Washington State...

still waitin on University of Washington, Western Washinton, Seattle Pacific and UofU

im just wondering how the fuck are yall planning on paying for college? any of yall applying for student loans or financial aid? i got 40k in financial aid last year from a liberal arts college but i still gotta pay like 19k>>>???

Come to Plymouth. Quite a few NSers go here. Its a good time. Plus you could hang out with me, Im like a mix between Jesus and Fergie.

I applied to Fort Lewis in August and got in. I'm starting up in January. Not a bad track record. Apply to one school and get in. I must admit though, its an easy school to get into

applied early decision to colorado collegefrom there my list goes

colby

bates

whitman

lewis and clark

udenver

boulder

conn college

wesleyan

hopefully i get into CC though

For the love of God please do not go to University of the Pacific. I cannot imagine a worse place to go to college than Stockton.

You kids and your out-of-state and private colleges....

Unless your parents are paying your way through, you're essentially loading yourself up with a massive amount of debt for a marginally useful piece of paper.
