College acceptance thread 2012/13

Wait listed at CC. Probably commiting to UVM sometime next week since UVM was my 1st choice anyway and CC was very close to my 1st.

Haha well those are definitely solid scores that you have. I'll ask around my school and see who's gotten in and what their scores were. Are you from NY?

Can't quote on mobile but I got into UBC for arts, waiting on commerce and my scores are 2200 on sat (780 on cr and math) and 800s in math 2 and chinese and my schools on a 4 point scale but I think my percentage is 87? And to the dude who says usc doesnt give aid... They automatically give you a half ride for tuition if you're a national merit scholar

I got into CU Boulder and applied for dorms. I picked Farrand first, then Libby, then Sewall or whatever. I am just waiting for my roomate!

Not me, but where is that and why is it famous?(at least I think it is) It sounds so familiar but I know nothing about it.

Accepted at middlebury and UW

Wait list at bowdoin and CC

Deferred from stanford and pomona

I'm almost good at getting into college

Doesn't it have a large focus on education? The only majors it offers masters in are education, for the most part, also physical therapy doctorates.

Anyone apply to Notre Dame and get something back yet?Not much hope on my end, but I'd still like to know.

Damn the only repectable public school in Washington turned me down, University of Washington.

Probably community college now. FML

aw man that sucks, i honestly was surprised when i found out i was accepted. i see people with sat in the 2000's getting rejected

damn yah....it just sucks so much to wait for a decision and then have to wait again...imma write a follow up letter to see if it does anything...

UVM, CU Boulder, UMass Amherst, and UMO. I wish I had applied to some slightly more prestigious schools, but it's too late now. I'll probably go to UMO because it's the cheapest.

accepted at ucsb, uc davis, uvm, u of denver, and uw rejected at ucla, unc, and cal poly and most likely vanderbilt sometime in the next few days. probably going to ucsb so im stoked

I've spent quite a bit of time on Pomona's campus. It's a great school in a nice town. You will enjoy your time there. Congrats on the acceptance! It's definitely a prestigious school.

No hate and I need to stop posting here, but why would you apply to USC or UW, two schools that are extremely difficult to get admitted to, when you would rather go to OSU or Gonzaga?Dont know about others here, but all these people posting accepted to USC(U of SoCal), Georgetown, Harvard, etc.. on facebook is ticking me off, especially the ones paying there way into college

Accepted at stanford!

Final tally

Accepted at: Pomona, Middlebury, UW, Stanford

Waitlisted at: Bowdoin, Colorado College

Rejected at: Williams, Brown

Y'all are making me feel old as fuck. If anyone gets accepted to Brown or any nearby school (URI, J&W, RISD, JWU) PM me, I could use a ski buddy.
