BMBW Predictions

Park was so fun today. I sent the regulator roller big air dave style and now I have a giant cut on my arm and its bleeding pretty bad. 10/10 worth it for the last run of the season
 
Ah damn it I'm not gonna make party in the park. But I will be at Carinthia so I'm not too salty.
 
So I was at mount snow today, and when buying my lift ticket from the office the head guy there asked me who the gm is at bmbw now. I told him it was Josh Boyd, he lol'd and said "I'm sure you guys want vinnie back now, right?".

I guess he has a reputation across the country.

Usually I get burnt out by mid march but I want to ski more than any time this season. (Besides preseason of course because everyone goes crazy) I managed to get 15 days in after presidents day weekend.

that's because we got fucking robbed of our winter, especially you with your broken wrists. Springs is closing saturday, it might be worth the drive depending how desperate you are. Luckily I'm up at Mt Snow where the parks rock. I even accidentally almost threw a flatspin out of a donkey dick and didn't die

Springs? They do, and their annual mashed potato meltdown is slated for April 14th. Allegedly the rev tour and good company shoot are going down between closing day (sat) and then, so they must have snow

Ah damn i see, that blows. My parents eventually stopped bothering me about weird schemes to go skiing when they realized it's one of the only things I give a single shit about.
 
Guys I have decided I'm never giving another dollar to bmbw again in my life, even if I'm stuck here next season. After 10+ years of season passes. I'm free! Fuck you Josh Boyd!

No I graduate from Ohio state in December so I won't even be near mad river anymore. Hopefully I will be west by then. If not, I will just make springs trips. I literally cannot progress anymore at bmbw. However I'm stoked, skiing in the backyard today with this snow we got. Last sesh probably

I have an idea. How about we get all the bmbw guys on newschoolers to work park crew so we can actually have more than 8 rails put up and have non sketchy jumps.

well I would love to but I graduate college in December and will likely be bound by whatever full time job I take by the second half of ski season or so. Plus, I doubt josh would ever hire me after all the shit I've talked.

I would have that shit looking like park city.

I feel like a big part is the snowcat operator. If he is lazy then the jumps look like shit. The crew could still pull out the chain saws and shape the sides of the jump like for big air

The only time they ever build nice jumps is when they manage to get that Elia guy or whatever to come to town

That is very true but we could atleast cut the kickers into a shape like Pknpk. It looks so much better and takes like 5 min.

So I'm trying to come back up to bmbw for the open house in October, except their damn website doesn't even have the rail jam listed under open house details. I don't want to make the drive up there if there's not even going to be the rail jam. do you have any idea? because I've been blacklisted,they don't answer me on social media anymore lmao
 
The website is so bad now. They don't even have freestyle bootcamp under the available programs at open house. The offices are closed till october so you won't hear from them until then. I doubt they would Cancel it considering how popular it was.
 
So I went to Buckeye Sports Center to check out their ski swap and ended up buying brand new rossi s3 skis with griffons for $550 brand new which was a steal. The employee was impressed with my enthusiasm and knowledge of skis and said he would strongly suggest that I think about working there. It sounds way better than working with stoners at bmbw and getting paid minimum wage. Apparently every Saturday we gather in the basement and talk about the industry for 3 hours which sounds interesting. Apparently i get a free pass to bmbw still which was the only attractive part of working for bmbw. Anybody have a reason for me not to work there? Thanks

Idk if u saw but the rail jam is on saturday and sunday on msnow. Shouldnt be a mud fest for once.

no reason not to work there. I've been going there since I was very young, its a solid store. The best part is, you wouldn't be surrounded by morons like you would at sun valley. I'm stoked about the mSnow rail jam, will definitely be coming up for both days.

The only possible negatives are that i have to work atleast 3 days a week, but I live like 30 min away. That could interfere with school possibly since I would get home like at 8:45 but that would imply that I work until 8:15. Some nights I randomly get assigned like 90-120 minutes of homework but I won't be playing a sport so that will help.

My friend and I hit this in Cascade Park, Hudson last April when we got that freak snowstorm. Nice 25 footer with a natural hill run in so you don't need a bungee or winch.

Alpine Valley is having one next Tuesday and Wednesday on mSnow too during their open house; I think I'm gonna go up there since I won't be in town next weekend.

I wouldnt be surprised if bmbw left the setup up and charged a like $5 fee for other weekends. It would cost them literally nothing, maybe a little hose water and like 2 park crew employees.
 
For this thread, always quote as much as possible so we get notifications. I forget to check regionals a lot.
