BMBW Predictions

Drove by both resorts after school today. Mills can open sunday no problem but brandywine still has a little bit. I am 90% sure they will open the 16th though. I am pretty confident that alpine will open.

Eldora and winter park. They are close and have good family activities near them so i kinda was forced but i am not complaining at all!!!

I may be the only one that thinks this, but I don't like how they combined the bmbw and av instagram. I love the activity on ig but I think combining the two is kind of lazy. Just my opinion though.
 
The powder sucked because none of the hills are steep enough to maintain speed. However i did fully clear my first normal flatbar. I don't count those tiny things at party in the park. Snow was super soft and sped up at the end. The landings got a little icy but its preseason ohio, what can we expect? Overall great day!!!

Do you know if that tube dfd on bmbw instagram is going at alpine valley or bmbw? I will legit drive out to alpine valley for that, that's the best rail they've put out in years

For you since you are good, there is an urban style hand rail and that flat bar i posted and a shitty jump but it may have been reshaped. Id say to just wait till Friday.

Well I just graduated today, so I'm absolutely itching to ski. It will be the longest 4 days of my life. I may have to make a trip to snow trails if I can find out enough about the setup

it is better than the preseason park last year at bw if thats any motivation. I mean last year they had like 2 rails up so its not that hard to beat.
 
Ok now that I've been back in richfield for 24 hours and I've seen how much snow and cold there is up here, I'm pissed that bmbw isn't open. How fucking typical is this
 
How do they not even have an opening day set? They have been making snow for too long now to just say "it will be announced later this week."

They are announcing it tonight. They had the date set on sunday. Alpine valley was cold af tnite. The flat bar was super smooth and the corrugated had a lip so it was hitable. The jump is actually poppy and good now. It was a tiny bit icy on the landings but other than that the snow was great.

Trust me, there is a 75% chance it wont dissapoint. The alpine valley setup was even better and they made the opening day call less than 24 hours before they opened.

"He isn't cheap" yea you have been here for less than 2 months. "they redid the bm lodge" yea cause you were forced to because you probably had invested in cheap pipes. The dude didn't even know what Breckenridge was. He is qualified from an education standpoint but not a ski / snowboard industry standpoint. He knows nothing about skiing or snowboarding. He is gonna try park and kill himself lol. He defiantly has made a very big improvement on the place so far by actually listening to feedback. I have to give him props for that.

I could have called that one years ago. I know they don't give a fuck. Luckily I have quite a ski trip lined up. Two weeks in Utah straight into two weeks in Vermont

Im guessing no. My friend on park crew won't tell me anything "cause its a surprise". He did tell me that only 1 of the new features was setup. Thats a 1/6 chance.

Dude they need to blow. Its gonna rain tomorrow and next week. Did you see me eat it on the flat bar? I clipped my tip when i popped and i landed on my chest on the rail. Stoked that i even hit the flat bar and shotgun. Fun to finally hit stuff in the big park lol.

2016 bdogs with a black saga coat. Pretty much a full black suit. I left after I tried to 5 the tiny jump and ate buckets of shit, I wasn't there long

I dunno, here in richfield, not veyr far from bmbw, we have gotten fuckall for rain. I love skiing in light rain, the rails are absurdly slick.
