Anyone else watching it? Jon Stewart is a fucking boss. Hes defending Common in some issue with a convicted cop killer. For some reason I hate bill O'reilly, you cant explain that!

Bill O'Rielly is a bully and uses extremely controversial methods. Not hating on the GOP but I could hate on Bill.
 
Jon is infinitely more smart than Bill, and thinks on his feet far too quickly for bill. Bill needs an ignorant, nervous interviewee to look smart, Jon points out his contradictions faster than Bill can change the point or start yelling.
 
watch what Jon said on his show about fox news, bill o'reilly and how hypocritical they are with regards to this topic. pretty funny stuff.

there were a couple times I really thought Bill was gonna break out of character and agree with Jon, "you're right, the things I say are retarded"
 
Wow, I think O'Reilly may have realized for the first time that he was getting systematically destroyed in an interview. At first, I thought Jon was being a bit annoying with his restatements and overly calm tone, but you quickly realize that was just his way of neutralizing O'Reilly's tendency to "win" arguments by yelling louder. Also, the comment by Stewart at the end of the first clip about Fox's selectivity of news was so fucking perfect I couldn't help scared laugh at the look in O'Reilly's eye.
 
The thing is, it doesn't matter how many debates with O'Reilly Jon Stewart wins; the people who watch O'Reilly will think O'Reilly is a genius and that Jon is a liberal hippie douche, regardless of what either man says.
 
John Stewart is a boss. Its about fucking time people really start calling out Bill and Fox News (what a joke) for all the bullshit that they spew.
 
That was well done by Jon. As for supporting a cop killer, did you not hear that he is supporting what he feels is unjust. So, he is supporting someone he feels was wrongfully accused or not treated fairly. Doesn't mean that he supports cop killers, it means he supports what is just and what should be fair for the accused.
 
Love Jon. He brings up such a good point that its for a poetry thing and there are way more important things that the media should be focusing on. Im glad to rep the same area code as him.

I liked the above debate. O'Reilly has a way of speaking that is so condescending and arrogant I just want to choke the life out of him. When he drops the fake outrage he can actually be an intellectual person. Stewart is so much more thoughtful and rational any debate would obviously swing his way.

Bill is like religion, he takes a stand on a topic and that is the word of god. It is infallible, unshakeable, and any reversion in principal is impossible. This is what I hate in him. Even when presented with obvious cases of contradiction he ignores them and stays with his initial assessment.

As president, if you have to worry about the specific background of everyone invited to the white house for fear of ridicule it makes your job impossible, sure the buck stops with him, but that is unreasonable to say he condones cop killing by some type of connect the dots bull shit association.

 
Your a retard. If you've ever listened to commons music you know its about overcoming oppression and poverty in the black community. If he believes someone was wrongly convicted of murder then hes entitled to his opinion. Obviously our court system is far from perfect and tends to discriminate against poor African Americans. That does mean he supports cop killers in anyway so open your eyes and stop being a prejudiced fuck.
 
I rarely watch political pundits, but every time one of these videos pops up, I have to wonder if people like OReilly actually believe what they say, or if it's just an elaborate ruse he puts up to collect his big ass paychecks.
 
You don't find him entertaining? Like Tasche said, O'Reilly's media persona is douchey, but he still strikes me as a fun guy to have a beer with once the cameras are off.

The shitty thing is he seems to be the exact kind of person that would not even miss a beat after someone telling him they despise him. Matter of fact I think he thrives off hate. That is one of the reasons John Stewart is so successful when talking to him. He shows respect.
 
if you think that o'reilly isn't a smart guy then you've got you pull stewart's dick out of your mouth, then your head out of your ass. they're both incredibly smart with just opposing view points and it's awesome to see a debate done that well and respectfully.

Haha I love when ever they go on each others shows, Jon always looks like he's scolding a baby for the 100th time knowing full well it will go in one ear and out the other, But at least he makes the effort.
