If you're a big mountain skier post here. I wanna see how many don't only ski park. No offense, but its not real skiing.

yeah man i wish i could be a big mountain skiier, i live on the east coast, it blows, i am not really a fan of the parks!!!!!

man i ride more big mountain than anything, and im just lucky to live in a place where i can, a lotta people cant, and for those who choose to only ride park, who gives a shit theres just more pow for the rest of us...plus parks reall fun too

started out in the park realized i blow and better a big mountain....never looked back a day..

the only time i go in the park is on the way back to the lift, and the biggest tricks i throw are cosacks, 180's, and straight slides on boxes.

skiing steeps, dropping

I prefer big mountain to park but I live in NC, so no big mountain here. but when I go out west I ski big mountain the whole time

I ride big mtn. I guess. but I also ride park, my favorite thing to do is do tricks off cliffs. So I would say I go about 70% big mtn. and 30% park. Its a nice balance because park gets boring for me after too long.

I like to learn new tricks at Summit Central then take them to Crystal. It's really fun.

OP you're from Mobb Steep right?

eh it wasn't me, haven't skid sugar since december but I have a rasta oakley flare jacket and yellow saga pants, I'm at app normally, haven't gone much this year

I love skiing big mountain but I also thoroughly enjoy skiing park. It all depends on the conditions.

Yeh man... Im Pre Qualified for the Freeskiing world tour, but I've competed at TWSSF superpipe for the last two years and am competing slopestyle tomorrow. Only Skied park 2 weeks this season. Too much pow and mountains that I've climbed. Probably more beer too...
I would just say Im a freeskier, no reason to put a label on it as a Big Mt skier, or park skier only.

haha for me it's the other way around. I try new shit off of small cliffs into soft snow, then try them in the park when the snow is shitty ice. Park jumps at my mountain are way higher consequence features than the cliffs on a decent pow day.

if by big mounain you mean anything backcountry/pow then i'm in. unfortunately we dont get too many bluebird days up here in WA so a solid big mountain line is rare. not to mention, the terrain here is definately lacking when it comes to high alpine.

"not real skiing" you sound like one of those asshole racer kids. People like you bring bad vibes to the mountain... It's not cool to disrespect something just because you don't do it/don't like it 0/10

Have not skied more than 1 park run for the last 2 years.

I ski at revelstoke where it is all.pow and big mountain

On a bad day i will build a jump and have a soft landing

please define big mountain. i think people dont understand what real big mountain skiing is.

if you mean by anything with the fluffaduff and steep, then i can add my name to the list.

skied park for the first time in awhile yesterday and can say i wasnt feeling it at all.

I enjoy all kinds of skiing. big mountain is certainly fun, and scary. i prefer "real" mountains over the park, that is for sure.

I'm def more big mountain than park but I think this happens to everyone as ya get older. I still lap park though if the crowd/mountain is right for it. As far as park not being real skiing, that's a total farce. On the east coast the park is often times the craziest terrain on the mountain. This is especially true for the smaller resorts. Skiing is skiing homie.
