I'd like to but the icecoast doesn't allow me to,

whenever theres a storm I head out to the glades and shred some fresh snow while I'm laughing at those hiking the rails cause the snow is too slow to lap.

You guys in the east think its lame, at least you dont ski in wisco. Theres nothing even remotely close to "big mountain" which sucks, because I'm not a big park guy and I'd love skiing big mtn GNAR lines(not that I ever have, cuz I'm stuck in high school in wisco). At least I got 4 days out west at keystone breck vail and a basin in a month, I hope the east wall is open.

I'm just going to sneak this little guy in here.

made it today, found this as an excuse to put it in SG... can you blame me?

I'd say I miss my park rat days, but I'd be lying.

I have seen allot of both my friend. Doesnt matter to me , though big mountain skiers have bigger balls than park skiers. Park jumps can be terrifying for sure, but all you have to do is have the correct speed, You could land on a 100ft your head if you have the perfect speed and be perfectly fine. Big Mountain you cant make mistakes, there are more variables and such things as NO fall zones where if you start, you wont stop till your a few hundred to a few thousand feet lower in elevation and usually travel over rock.

This is why tanner is the best skier on the planet. Solely because he can do both at a superhuman level. If you kids want to be good skiers, go to your hill. Seek out the shittiest snow you can find and ski it as fast as you can, then do it again.

^Yup.

My home hill does host the FWT championships so I'd venture to say I ski a bit of big mountain.

Also the lack of snow in tahoe this season has made me a better skier, fo sho.

THis is not true. After cruising around to a few big mountain comps last season, skiing alta almost everyday, i came back to park skiing and ended up blowing my knee by sending it a little too big to flat in april. so FUCK YOU!

I consider myself more of a big mountain/all mountain guy. i worked and lived in Alta for a couple seasons so naturally i got more into skiing big steep deep lines, hucking cliffs, and touring around the bc. im at school in the east now and dip into the park a few times here and there but i ski trees and bumps and hesh around and shit way more these days...and the general vibe and energy of people in the park these days is just kinda shitty, i feel like its more of a fashion show than anything...but thats because most of the kiddies around here are rich massholes

same, i hate it when im in the park and people look at me and are like park rat when i know i can shred better then any of them any where else.

Nice edit, Red is such a killer mountain skiied there on last friday and saturday and fell in love so much fun there, gotta love the snow 2 so easy to drop in it slows you right down. So you guys got another dumb today thats cray, There was like a foot on saturday morning so much fun to ski.

none of that footage was from today. it's just a collection of links line since the start of the season. a lot of it from Saturday actually....

Thats sweet dude, had a load of fun of saturday, saw the line down that chute at the end was skied and was pretty impressed not alot of room at the bottom haha. Hit a bunch of those cliffs but not enough so I Will be back haha, you def gotta show me around that place

shit - sorry OP didn't even check the date. now i feel stupid. my opinion on the topic still stands so fuck that other guy but i can realize that yours could have changed.

Get a good amount of photography and video editing under your belt. Its always best if you can get someone to get sick shots of you. Once you get a sick edit showing off your skills put together a resume. Make it extensive and leave no blank spots. Make sure its well written. Be sure to make something professional. Most companies will now take email but some still require a mail in. Also, before you do any of this check out this webpage. http://www.freeskier.com/stories/how-get-sponsored-ski-team-managers-explain-dos-and-dontsHope that helps and good luck
