Big Sky's Park

about 6 feet haha. by far the deepest powder i've ever skied. twas in a zone hidden in plain sight that anyone who's skied the couloir has learned to know and love.

One more day

Please set this up like those hug walls at bear and loon mountain and breck where you can go up and stall and shit! That would be dope as fuck! With like clear plexiglass to get sick ass shots.

there will be a coping on the top but the lexan will not occur untill next season due to budget issues a 4x8' sheet of lexan can run almost $120

Yeah it is fucking expensive. No worries, not super stoked on it, not really my type of feature.

Suggestion. under swifty on one of those rollers, could you put a small jump up to a snow pad and then a pole jame sticking out of that? make sense? So you hop up to the pad, hit the pole jam then drop a good 10+ feet to the landing.

Is that blue barrel from a few seasons ago still floating around somewhere? you all should throw that in somewhere as something you can tap from the side. Like volcano tap or something, idk.

Something along these lines. Would be sooooo dope! and leave a little room on the side of the pole to do butters off, and maybe even a tiny little lip. (skateboard esque tranny)

hahaha

not hahaha to the entourage gif, hahaha to the hardly ski big sky. you must be a "local" who has lived there for all of two years

Riley, I love you, but this statement makes you seem like a tool. You've actually lived here less than a year. Visiting family over the past few years does not a local make.

There have been a couple modifications, but this is still pretty much how it is. This was from about 2 weeks ago.

Nah, I am and will always be a Colorado girl at heart. But I have to deal with asshole wannabe locals every day at work so I do get a little irritable.

Make sure you guys come up this weekend and check out chamberlin even if your not riding in it its a pretty burly set up with sons of options should be a good time.. oh and the new wall ride will be in it

Kind of agree with this. Not trying to hate at all, because you guys are doing a rad job, but id rather see more of swifty filled in with features than changing 2.0 every couple weeks.

I guess the grass is always greener. Last year there was a lot of features in a row but they didn't switch it up and people complained. Now they switch it up too often and people complain.

C'mon Ben

Anyone have a picture of the setup? Or do I have to wait until Friday?

Wallride drop to tranny over the closeout rail. Or closeout to drop to tranny. gap to skinny down box. Down rail with the mini kink at the end.

And i wasnt complaining, just agreeing that there is a TON of space between features. As i said, setup has been rad this year. Just throwing in my 2 cents.

there's all that space between features right now because we put most of those features in the chamberlin set up. the dfd was gonna be in it as well, but we decided there wasnt enough room. we will be putting everything back in next week, new set up, putting features on bigger pads, etc.

lack of snow is the reason we cant put all the features we want in swifty, definitely already pushin it as it is. our cat drivers managed to steal a bunch of snow from those trails they created in the woods around swifty in order to make it happen. 2.0 gets new features because there is a shit ton more snow down there.

chamberlin is our last event until the pond skim, so the sole focus after this weeknd will be perfecting the parks and the jump line.

One kid got ambulance out. It fucked people up. Was honestly a bad idea to put that thing in for an amateur comp.

That was me. I just got cleared by the hospital about half an hour ago. Pretty big concussion but no broken bones luckily.
I don't understand why that feature was there in the first place, so damn sketchy.

Holy fuck dude! Yeah that was nuts. I am bummed I didn't get footage of it. Are you still competing tomorrow?
